Ordered take out. Burgers, coleslaw onion rings exceeded me and my friend's expectations.
Food is good, used to be better… received my food right away and the fries were very cold… did not bother to replace them… service is good when it’s not busy.
Staff needs to be more attentive and better trained…
Food not hot
Burgers were disappointing
My husband was disappointed with his sandwich today. A Monte Cristo is typically made on French toast. What arrived was a grease soaked deep fried sandwich with no flavor. He ate some and decided no more. The waitress was kind, offering to have something else made or request the manager. My husband agreed to talk to manager. Whomever that was today did not come out of their office but the waitress said she could give 1/2 off. Enough said. It is literally not the managers job to make the waitress the messenger. I had the Blackened salmon salad. Very good except mushy avocado was hidden underneath lettuce. Below par for their usual. And if you research Monte Cristo it is supposed to be a sweet/savory sandwich. I tasted, completely flavorless.
I got the buffalo Mac and cheese…. It was noodle, chicken doused in buffalo sauce. I couldn’t even eat it.
This is a really cool restaurant. For the most part the food was great. The kids Mac n cheese didn't taste very good, it had a very weird taste to it. The burgers were fantastic, along with the fries and the cheese curds are the best I've ever had at any restaurant. Definitely recommend ordering those. Our family would definitely come back. Our waitress was fantastic as well. The decor and the finishings in the restaurant were really cool.
Great food. Great service
I went to fords garage on Friday December 20th to eat dinner on my break from work. It was busy but the lady at the front desk was really helpful and told me that the bar is first come first serve so I walked over to get a seat at the bar. I waited until a couple had finished their food and had gotten up to leave so I could sit down. All of a sudden a white guy who was the bartender told me and I quote “You can’t sit here because there’s a couple who was waiting outside”. He then proceeded to take the menu off the table and gave them my seat that I had waited for. I was furious because if it’s first come first serve and I waited politely then I should’ve been able to sit down. I feel it was racially motivated and he gave them that seat because they were white and I was black. I don’t think that’s the first time that has happened at that restaurant because the way he did it was all too natural and familiar to him. I work in customer service and have for years in leadership roles so i know what good customer service is. I feel it was either taught by management or it’s condoned by management. I called and spoke to the manager named Kendall and told her how my experience was and she told me she was gonna have her management partner call me,but it never happened and this is why I’m writing this review. I will never ever eat in that racist restaurant again and I know that this review will be deleted before anyone reads it because they run a purposely racist restaurant so they care nothing about the way they treat black or Hispanic people.Ghe fords garage in Brandon fl and in Lakeland Florida are nothing like this and that has never happened to me in either of those places so the one on cattleman drive in Sarasota has to teach or condone the blatant racist behavior of its employees. I notice that the ford garage manager answered everyone else’s review but somehow he or she didn’t respond to my review at all even though I know he or she saw it. I definitely think this is a racist establishment and Kendall lied to me about having the manager reach out to me.
Very poorly managed. Have been in retail for 30 years and this entire management staff should be fired. Was told over and over that it would be another 30 minutes, another minutes, another minutes.....then the female manager took drink orders from us and left us mid-order, only taking 2 out of 3 drink orders and said she would be back.....never returned. Had to walk to the bar to get a drink and they had 1 bartender for probably 30 people at the bar sitting and standing, never got a drink. Hears the same manager yell at her employees in front of customers....Will never go back.

Food was awesome, drinks were great. Everything is a bit pricey but very worth it. You'll love this place, just not the traffic getting to it.

First time here and the place is awesome, love the decor and theme. Food was great, fresh, and priced well.
However, we were seated in the patio on a cold evening and promised heaters around us. We did not receive any and were told they were all in use at other tables. So we sat freezing while our server seemed to avoid us, besides to bring food and the check. Terrible experience and felt completely disrespected. Will not be coming to dine here again. Disappointed since the food is actually worth the terrible service.
P.S. we watched as other tables seated after us received heaters around them while still waiting for our food to even arrive.
