Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I want to compliment the staff working last night June 9, 2025 at your Lockwood Ridge Rd Sarasota FL location. My 6 yr old son won a free sundae as a reward for reading 5 books. So we went to Freddy's for dinner (and his free sundae). The staff asked him about the books and complimented and praised him in a heartwarming and sincere manner and could not have been nicer. The burgers and ice cream were really good too. I was surprised with just how good they were, but it was the staff's kindness that was especially outstanding. Please pass the compliment on to those who were working the evening shift last night. We will be back! Forget McDonalds!

Just okay at this location. Tables and chairs are all dirty. No other customers inside.

Went throught the drive thru and ordered. I ordered the chicken tender meal and the tenders were not what is pictured they were like the cheap kids frozen chicken I could have gotten at the grocery store. Also I asked for chees fries for my husband and I meals and was give 1 cup of cheese. I asked for 4 and was charged for 4. The soda was gross. I like Freddy's but the quality is seriously lacking. I will not be back any time soon.

Why doesn’t the AC ever work right here? Great food but I hate dining in, which I have too much other a little one.

Always fresh and clean comfortable. The temperature is always cold and coming in outa the sun it’s a good relief to eat and enjoy yourself the pictures around the room reeks a story about mr Freeddy idea and passion for this business. And the burgers are so delicious

Freddy's double cheese without their special salt. Fries the same, food is piping hot cooked to order, cheese actually tastes like cheese and char on smash burger is delicious. Huge burger share with best friend...perfect lunch.

Went through the drive through Sunday night. We ordered two bacon cheese doubles. Instead of two burger patties as advertised, we got one huge patty the size of a sandwich plate and a teeny tiny bun. The patty hung nearly an inch and a half outside the bun all the way around making it impossible to pick up and take a bite and the staff in the kitchen was laughing and horsing around so loudly it could be heard through the window. Fortunately, the food was hot and tasty regardless.
