Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I’ve gone to Freddy’s in other states, and I’ve had good experiences. However, this last visit in Sarasota off university left me very disappointed. I spent $15 on a burger combo. The burger was hot, but thrown together sloppily. Not sure how or why but the burger was too salty. The fries were hardened and overcooked to crunchy and not salty. Unfortunately, I won’t be taking my business back to this Freddy’s specifically, and possibly not at all in Florida. I also visited at Freddy’s on SR 70 and I 75. My experience there wasn’t as bad as Sarasota, but I was definitely let down also. For Restaurant, that is supposed to make the food to order, you sure can’t tell it.

Your location on University in Sarasota needs serious help. The manager, Adrianna is the rudest person and seriously incompetent. Your brand is tarnished by people like her.

food is prepared as custom ordered. staff is polite. tables are clean for dine in.

latest visit was on 8/1/25. asked employee Christina about the options, i was momentarily speechless, i never heard of sauerkraut as a condiment for a cheese burger !

I want to compliment the staff working last night June 9, 2025 at your Lockwood Ridge Rd Sarasota FL location. My 6 yr old son won a free sundae as a reward for reading 5 books. So we went to Freddy's for dinner (and his free sundae). The staff asked him about the books and complimented and praised him in a heartwarming and sincere manner and could not have been nicer. The burgers and ice cream were really good too. I was surprised with just how good they were, but it was the staff's kindness that was especially outstanding. Please pass the compliment on to those who were working the evening shift last night. We will be back! Forget McDonalds!
