Situated in an inconspicuous plaza, Fresco’s is definitely the hole-in-the-wall place to go for some of Sarasota’s best Italian food.

Nice atmosphere makes u feel right at home

I don't expect much judging by the location, but perhaps that's judging the book by the cover. The contents may be considerably more, and I'll be going back to try different things. I had a cheese steak (I know, not Italian, but it was what I was feeling!) And it was absolutely delicious, with crispy bits and tender steak, a fluffy and toasted bun, and melted cheesy goodness. My wife had lentil soup, which was merely good (nothing to write home about), but she enjoyed.

After reading so many reviews, we just had to finally try this place! What a hidden gem! The food was outstanding and you felt like you were part of their family! The staff was amazing and the owner came to meet you personally. We are looking forward returning and trying more delicious foods they offer!! As a local business owner myself, I think it's very important to give positive reviews when earned and this place deserves all 5 stars!

This was an incredible and authentic Italian restaurant. The spices and oil to dip your bread in is just phenomenal, some of the best I've had. The stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer were wonderful. I'll be back on my next trip to Sarasota.

Food was amazing!!! Staff was super nice and personable. Even though we were working and we're in and out quick that made it a memorable experience. Can't wait to go back when in not working and enjoy some other amazing dishes

Great staff and excellent food. Not from Sarasota so looked some nearby restaurants and found this gem. Location is off the main trail but definitely worth it.

Food was bland. Service was terrible. Server wouldn't leave us alone. The place is clean, but the food was expensive and has no taste. Save your money. Don't go to this crappy hole-in-the-wall. Owner was not pleasant. Screaming at people.

Fantastic food, wonderful service, the owner and staff are warm friendly and very accommodating. I can honestly say that this is undoubtedly my favourite Italian restaurant. A true hidden gem.

Great pizza, sandwiches and other dishes. I have not been disappointed yet. Took Hubby and a friend and they were very happy. Food is fresh and made to order - no microwaves or pre-battered frozen stuff here.
