All around great experience! The Key Lime pie is the best I’ve ever had! All of the other food was outstanding as well, but don’t leave without trying the pie!

I am from Sarasota, an avid fisher and always try to support local businesses. I asked for a headpiece of black grouper. He faced the thicker part on scale so I would think he gave me head piece. When I arrived home, I was disappointed to find he didn’t give me what I asked. Thought he could fool me.

We had a wonderful server Vanessa, and the grouper sandwich and crab sandwich were very good! Bathrooms were clean. Key lime was good! The sides were ok.

I got the snow crab, and it was amazing, possibly best crab legs I’ve ever had. The lobster roll was also phenomenal. I would come back again, and would say best, fresh seafood in the Siesta Key area. Hidden gem for sure.

Best crab cake we’ve ever eaten.Blackened Mahi mahi was good too. The freshness of the fish surely makes a difference and you taste that difference here! Vacationers, THIS is the place to get your good seafood from. We’ll be back!

Amazing food! The waitress was very nice in helping me choose my fish as it was mostly new to me. The fish sandwich and roasted potatos were delicious. The key lime pie was the perfect desert. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Let me start by saying this place has no indoor bathroom. My wife waited over 25 minutes to use the shared facilities because the key was locked in. We waited 55 minutes for our food to be told we weren’t the only ones that were waiting. Waited so long we took it to go after the almost hour wait without so much as an apology or discount. They should have e comped the meal. Never again.. don’t waste your time there are many better places locally like Walt’s

We enjoyed our time at Fresh Catch Fish Market. My wife started with the side Caesar salad which she enjoyed. I had the fresh catch fish sandwich. I went with the mahi mahi, sandwich was very good could tell the fish was fresh. I just got it grilled as well so the fish was the star of the show. The coleslaw was very bland, not my favorite. My buddy got the fish tacos, he said they were good. His potatoes looked good as well. My wife got the happy snapper wrap which was really really good we both enjoyed it. Her rice again was very plain and had no flavor. We were talked into the key lime pie which was the first time I’ve had it so not sure what to compare it to. It was solid not my favorite thing but don’t think I’d love any key lime pie. Service was very nice, but to get our checks and pay had to ask multiple times to get them then had to go up and pay after the waitress never came back. Very odd especially as we were the only ones in the place at the end. Would go back for the fish but wouldn’t get sides or anything else. The vibes were cool with the market as well as cafe, enjoyed being able to see the fish in the display case and people coming in and buying.

I have never eaten here, but I come at least a couple of times a week for fresh fish to cook at home. Without fail, everyone in the store is welcoming and friendly. When I ask for a certain weight of fish, that is exactly what I am given, not an extra quarter or half pound that drives up the price. It is cut, skinned, or prepared any other way I request, all with smiles and willingness to please the customer. There is always a wide variety of fresh fish available, and everything I have tried has been delicious! By the way, parking is always available, unlike other fish stores I have visited. In my opinion, this is the best (and only) place to purchase fresh fish in Sarasota!
