What a gem of a gelato cafe! The flavors are rich, creamy, and taste incredibly fresh - you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The texture is smooth and velvety, just like real Italian gelato should be. The staff was warm and welcoming, offering samples and great recommendations. The café itself is cozy and clean, with a lovely atmosphere perfect for relaxing. Definitely a must-visit for any gelato lover

Very yummy Italian gelato and milk-free sorbets. The sorbets are a tad too airy for me, but extremely tasty. Service was really good and fast. They have a few tables both inside and outside on the sidewalk.
I am gluten free and dairy free, so an “ice cream cone” for me is rare! But Alonso homemakes all the gelato flavors from scratch using fresh ingredients - nothing artificial is their claim. In addition to the 15 or so diary flavors, he also offers not 1 (like most places do) but 6 dairy free options, including my favorite “Chocolate!” The cones are all gluten free. They make some dipped in dairy free chocolate and jimmies for a truly luxurious experience! Every time I walk by or enter, I see Alonso serving up his treats with a friendly smile. Consider joining the loyalty club. Get a card and after 9 cones you get the 10th one free! Thank you Alonso for the delicious and allergy friendly options you provide to the Sarasota community!

The best tasting gelato in town but the new workers/ owners are rude and act really put out. In a hurry and short change the portion sizes quite a bit because of the being in a hurry. I called to ask what time they close and he said 9 on the dot. Such a shame.
