We're South Jersey natives, transplanted to FL 15 years ago, so we have some very clear ideas of what makes a good hoagie and cheesesteak. Frestas makes the BEST hoagies and cheesesteaks in the state. Nothing else even comes close.

MUST TRY!!! This is hands-down one of the best kept secrets in Sarasota! I tried the cheesesteak and hands-down is the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my entire life, along with the friendliest staff! It is not to be missed!!

The food, service and ambiance was outstanding! Had Michelle as my server, she's great! I didn't realize they were a full fledged Italian joint from Philly. I love the Frank Sinatra and all the crooner music, played! I need to come back and try their Lobster Ravioli SOON! Still had to try their meatballs, which were great!
They have the rolls shipped from a bakery in Philly. Yes, they have seeds like alot of the modern day rolls. The Cooper Sharp Cheddar was very unique to me and I loved it. I know on a previous post, peeps were asking where the cheese was. The Pic doesn't show it but there is ample cheese.
Leftovers are going to be great! Highly recommend this local business...

Great food and truly prepared with love. We had the meatballs, gemelli with short ribs and shrimp gamberetti.
The only really negative part was the blond trainee waitress. She seemed uncoordinated, barely attentive, overwhelmed, even though she only had two tables to serve and was waiting for instructions from another waitress.

This place has the best vodka sauce I have ever had. Full stop
Great variety of sandwiches and appetizers. Very casual. Waitress was great in customizing our orders with different sauces and other additions.

We visited Fresta's tonight for the first time and fell in love! Our server, Ashley, was a rockstar! She was bartending, answering the phone, and serving pretty much everyone in the restaurant. We ordered the Meat Lovers personal pizza and the Short Rib Gemelli! Both were absolutely delicious! The pictures don't even do it justice! We are planning on coming back tomorrow night and we're going to bring some of our friends with us!

As someone from Philadelphia this is the best Philadelphia cheesesteak I've ever tasted! Pizza was phenomenal as well.. cannot recommend enough! Clean environment and delicious food 10/10

We werent sure waht to expect because of some of the reviews. Today was our first visit we had a Stromboli and pasta and meatballs. Both were very good. Actually the meatballs were great.
I would have given 5 stars but pasta and meatballs wasn't on the menu and the waitress thought it was and then was not sure of the price. She was lovely otherwise. The prices were fair especially for the quality.
My only recommendation would be to add pasta and meatballs to the printed menu because it's really quite good. I really liked the cheese on top of the pasta too.
