DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. If I could put zero stars I would. Older guy at the host stand is an absolute moron. Waited over 45 minutes after being told we would get a text to get seated in 15-20 minutes, we never got a text. We went back to host stand after almost an hour of waiting and the host gave our table to a couple of “regulars” instead who decided to seat themselves. Absolute waste of time. The host is rude and an absolute JERK. We ended up leaving and we are never returning and will definitely be telling others not to go.

We came here to celebrate my fiancés birthday with a bite to eat and requested a table in the sun they said theywould be a 15 to 20 minute wait and would text us, 40 minutes went by with no text, we went to check on our table and the old man at the front desk gave it to one of his friends that just strolled in, seriously? then when I asked if we can have our table we waited 40 minutes for he said he couldn’t because they people that took our spot were “good friends” that’s absolutely ridiculous when they made us wait an extra 40 minutes for nothing but a dark seat in the corner. Food was subpar for the price and drinks are extremely weak and full of ice. Don’t waste your time here. Plenty of better places to go.

We always make a point to go to Gilligan’s when in the Siesta Key area. Great laid back atmosphere, staff and speciality drinks. They typically have live music as well which just adds to the fun.

We were there today, April 15, 2024. We went to the outdoor bar. The bartender had a very bad attitude from the time we sat down. My husband asked if she could wipe off our area and she acted very put off by it. When she did wipe it off she just simply moved the crumbs around. She did not clean it. We were going to eat lunch but if you can’t wipe off a bar well, what is the kitchen like! It grossed us out and we will not be back.

My wife and I went here the other night as part of our exploration of the local cuisine on the island. Let me first say that this is a very fun spot with live music in a upbeat island bar atmosphere. The drinks where good and we both had the Craft burger made to order with fries. Though they were good and perfectly cooked their was nothing particularly stand outish about the selection. The fries were good a crispy obviously hand cut in house. Staff we interacted with were friendly enough however our waiter seemed a bit tired. We did come in a little later in the evening to miss the on peak dinner rush so maybe they just had a really hectic day. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the fair. So again if your looking for a hassle free quick bite or are just looking to soak up some alcohol while listening to some good live music, this could very well be your place.Parking: It's better to be walking distance from your lodging. Then parking is no issue. At peak times in the village there is literally no where to park. Paid parking is about $60 per day now. We just walk everywhere. Then we don't have to watch what we drink either. Take the Frog Hop or the Trolly if your to far to walk they are provided free, but appreciate tips.

They refused to give my daughter and her friends license Back as they thought they were fake. Hard to fake a CT license. The manager told them to get the sheriff and off she went, then they hesitated and gave it back to her but said they had to leave the premises. Good to be safe for under age drinking but not for a 26 and 24 year old who were honest and trying to have a good time.

VERY unprofessional staff, I’m here on vacation with my friend who’s 27 years old, and I am 24. We enjoyed the place maybe 4 times before this experience, and they passed our real IDs around saying they were fake. The manager wanted to keep them from us, when we leave Florida back home THE NEXT DAY. He said get a sheriff if you want them back. So we were going too but after pleading, we did get them back. HIRE STAFF WHO CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REAL AND A FAKE ID. I can only imagine how many ACTUALLY UNDERAGE kids were let in because no one can tell the difference clearly. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back. We went down the road to beach club after and had no issues.

Had lunch here on Easter. We walked over from the beach, seeing many choices as we walked along. Until we came to Gilligan's Island and my wife & I spontaneously felt we HAD to give it a try (I've watched every episode of a 1970's TV show called Gilligan's Island, so, yeah, nostalgia). We were greeted with enthusiasm right away as we walked up. We sat outside and enjoyed that. Our server Juliette arrived promptly. She provided excellent service. My wife ordered the nachos, my 19y.o. son a burger, and I a chicken sandwich. The nachos were the best I've ever had. It's also the largest-portioned "serving" of nachos I've ever SEEN! It could feed a family of five, so just know that up front. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. If I'm ever in Siesta Key again, I'm going back there and ordering the nachos again. Great experience. Fun atmosphere. Great service. Great nachos. Gracias Juliette & Gilligan's!! Adios!
