We had the best girls night at Block 15! Melanie was extremely helpful in the planning and created delicious charcuterie boards for us to enjoy. Nick was a great bartender. I would definitely host another event there!

Friday night was a spectacular evening at Block 15 Cork & Craft owners Tom & Melanie were great hosts. After a week of cleaning up from Hurricane Milton and losing their power, it was ready to open their doors. They offered delicious Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Charcuterie & Cheese Boards complementary to their guests as a good gesture for the loyalty of their patronage.

We ordered a bottle of their Portuguese Silk & Spice White Blend Wine that accompanied the snacks superbly and offered a nice selection of NA Beers to one of our guests. They offered a nice selection of Wines, Beers, and Ports with their State of the Art Cruvinet Wine System that supplies you with a Fresh and Crisp Glass of Wine each and every time.

This place has a Relaxing Atmosphere with a Long Spacious Bar and plenty of Hightop Seating throughout the Bar. We brought a group of people for an evening of entertainment with our good friends Tasa+Rob, a Dazzling Musical Husband & Wife Duo that transport you back in time with the Classic Songs from the 60's, 70's, and 80's and too today's current hits.

What an evening of Fun & Entertainment, so put it on your list to Patronize Block 15 Cork & Craft and don't forget to follow the Amazing ever so Talented Tasa+Rob.
Ciao Sarasota.

My husband and I are huge fans of Block 15 Cork & Craft in downtown Sarasota and their sister location, Siesta Key Wine Bar! Not only do they have a beautiful place and a wonderful wine selection, but the owners, Mel and Tom (and the entire staff), treat you like family! If you haven’t visited we encourage you to do so, you won’t be disappointed. They are great people!!

Great place and we are happy to be serving our small plates at Block 15. The pictures here are from Gran Cru which was the previous establishment. Some pictures of our food are attached here, but the best way to experience our small plates is to come in and pair them with the thoughtful wine and craft beer offerings at Block 15.

We decided to give this place another try being that it is a new place from the last wine bar that was here. We were not fans of the old place for many reasons. I think they did a great job of remodeling however, the wine list by the glass and tap machine is not exciting if you are into wine at all. Caymus is the main decor staple and focal point of the bar. If you are into Caymus, I am sorry to say you do not know what good wine really is. Lastly, it was a Friday evening and Seinfeld was on both TVs. First of all, I think TVs are tacky for a wine bar. Secondly, this created zero atmosphere. People typically want to hear music when they go out and have a drink at a wine or cocktail bar. I felt like I was in a hospital waiting room and it was simply too painful to even consider ordering a second glass of wine because it was very boring in there. I think it was great they were setting up for live music at just after 5 p.m. however, the music did not start till 8 p.m. I could have never made it that long. I hope the new ownership can learn how to get people to stay and drink. Two simple things: sell good wine and create an inviting atmosphere. This place has neither currently.

A remarkable selection of wines by the glass at reasonable (not cheap) prices. Try the Gruner Veltliner and the Portuguese white.
