Tiny little cute cafe, with delectable, healthy options and treats. The acai smoothie was a 10/10. I also enjoyed the ginger fresh juice, and the chicken pesto sandwich (GET THIS!!). Thank you!

Really nice selection of vegan dishes which were all super tasty
Was going to eat here but it’s a tight spot inside and they sat someone with 2 dogs that clearly were not security or guide animals - no thank you.
I love their tofu scramble! I was also excited to see somewhere with a vegan shakshuka. Their raw pancake was also unique and soo yummy—I’m craving it now! Awesome vibes, too! Updated from previous review on 2025-12-31

Green Zebra Cafe was an absolute gem during my beach getaway in Sarasota. I searched for plant-based food options and am so glad this place came up. From the moment we arrived, the establishment was beautiful with an inviting, peaceful atmosphere.
The menu selection is excellent. I ordered the portabella mushroom sandwich, which was amazing, and my daughter had the French toast — she loved it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.
Special shoutout to José. José was working on Christmas Eve and made us feel incredibly warm and welcomed. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the overall vibe of the place was just perfect.
Before leaving, I picked up the mango lime cheesecake, which was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious. I also purchased a scented candle and learned that the owner hand-makes them — the scents are incredible.
Overall, it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. When I visit Sarasota again, I will definitely be back.

Laid back cafe with cool orchid decor. This is a favorite of locals and they have great breakfasts and smoothies. Close to all the shopping on St. Armand’s. Great pastries and flavored coffees.

Came here for brunch with an old friend. We shared an avocado toast and their “famous” raw pancake. Service was warm and friendly. The toast was the best I have had anywhere?!? The raw pancake wasn’t much like a pancake, but still was quite delicious and packed with protein. We’re not big eaters, so these two dishes were enough for us. Go check it out!
We tried four different lunch options and all were delicious. The vegan BLT was a huge hit even for the meat eaters at our table. Service was fast and attentive. Lovely atmosphere too!

Great food! We ate at the downtown Sarasota location Our server was Matt-he was very good The food is original and excellent! Very nice for breakfast and lunch!
$21 for a salad with mostly just Romaine lettuce. Bland taste. Overpriced for what it is.

Well it happened, but we aren’t mad. We ordered the Ⓥ shakshuka and my hubs bit in and said “this is real egg”. Sure enough there was a mistake but they apologized, remade the Ⓥ version and didn’t charge us for that entree. Outside the mishap - this place is fantastic! Raw entrees, lots of Ⓥ options, juice/smoothies/bowls and everything is well labeled. What a find on City Island near Lido Key!
Excellent experience!! The barista Everson was awesome, the coffee was delicious and he was very warm, genuine, and hospitable. Definitely a must-go-to when in town!
