Offshore Tapas And Wine Bar

On Dec 12, 2024, four of us attempted have dinner around 6. We arrived a few minutes late because the entrance off of Boulevard of the Arts requires use of a room card to enter. We were headed to watch the Sarasota Orchestra (across the street) at 7:30. There were between 15-20 people counting folks at tables and at the bar (about 1/4 - 1/3 full I’d guess). We ordered, received drinks. We were promised food was coming. At 7:20 we informed the waitress that we were leaving. She provided to go boxes for three of the four dinners that were prepared. She charged us for the food but not our drinks. We specifically pick this place due to its proximity to the Orchestra. This posting if to warn others that might be thinking the same.

Was extremely disappointed with the service of the restaurant. I went over in the morning to order a cappuccino and some sort of light breakfast snack. When I arrived to the bar area, there were 2 servers, who were definitely busy. The only issue is I was not acknowledged whatsoever when I walked up, and not acknowledged at all while I sat and waited. Atop of that, one of the servers walked by me (directly in front of me) twice, looked at me, said nothing, and kept walking by. I sat for close to 15 minutes and finally decided to go up to the hotel front desk to get a recommendation for another place closeby to order coffee. I was given a spot located in another hotel nearby, which I decided to walk over to instead of sitting there any longer being ignored. Unfortunately, I have no food to review, as I was never served, thus, the reason for low food rating

This is the best place to stock up for the day or the week. Quality and service are very good. Menus and available items vary

Camilo took amazing care of me at the bar. Had a great chicken pasta. Really enjoy the hotel and the staff. I’ve stayed here a few times and the same people are here each time, which is a good sign in my opinion. Quality place to eat and rest!

Enjoyed a really good frittata. It was a very large portion. It came out steaming hot in the casserole dish. Served with the rosemary potatoes and choice of bread.

We were looking for a casual restaurant close to us and found the H2O Bistro in the Indigo Hotel. The menu is somewhat limited and the ambiance is that of a hotel lobby, but the food was good and reasonably priced. There was no wait to be seated, but it took a while for our food to come. Crab cakes and chicken club sandwich were tasty and the salad fresh. Our server Tim was attentive and pleasant.

We were staying at the hotel down the street. We looked online and saw that H20 Bistro was just a short walk away. Since we didn't want to deal with the valet, this was a great plan to walk to this restaurant just a couple of blocks away, especially since the evening weather was so nice and cool. So glad that we did! Our server's name was Terry and she is remarkable. I personally observed her making our drinks (the bartender), sweeping the floor (the custodian), cleaning the tables and bringing out the clean dishes (the bussing staff). She was truly a one-woman show and handled all customers and all aspects of the restaurant's operations singlehandedly. Despite all that was going on, the smile never left her face! She had an extremely pleasant disposition....she probably went home last night beyond exhausted. It is rare to find people that work like she did. The women is a machine! No one else could have managed those tasks as successfully as she did. I admire her greatly. And by the way, the food was delicious too. I was wondering for a moment if she personally cooked our food too, since she did everything else. Terry is superwomen!!!

Tim was the bartender great guy and food was amazing.

We arrived later in Sarasota in the evening and decided to eat here, in our hotel. The menu had a variety of choices and we both loved what we had. The bartender/waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu choices.
