This place is excellent. If you are looking for sushi, you found it. They have classics and unique recipe rolls. Try the Christmas roll. Hawaii salmon appetizer is delicious as well. Great service - very friendly and personable.

Family owned restaurant in the Gulf Gate area, cute decor. We ordered sushi rolls (Dragon Roll, Angry Birds Roll), and hibachi entree (Chicken & Shrimp) and miso soup. All Delicious! My son (8) said it's 5 stars! We will definitely come back again.

Great food and great experience! The service was excellent and food was also very tasty. Had the Salmon Teriyaki with the shrimp tempura and Yuzu Saki which was delicious! I had plenty of food (had to take some leftovers home).

I wish I had taken photos of everything we ordered! All of the rolls were delicious. I got the spicy trio which is an amazing deal for $19. The owners are so nice and the food is great quality! We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town.

What an unexpected gem! My husband and I LOVE sushi so we decided to give this place a try. The cozy intimate atmosphere drew me in the second I walked in the door. We were greeted by the friendliest host/owner (Ling) who made our experience top notch! She didn’t just take our order, but she gave us the perfect recommendations, and allowed us to take our time dining. We felt cared for and waited on! She even took the time to get to know us a little bit and made us feel right at home. As if the amazing customer service wasn’t enough, the sushi was INCREDIBLE! Would highly recommend the pink lady and dynamite roll! They were so fresh and full of flavor! I’m already looking forward to going back and I can’t wait to try their other rolls.

Best sushi in Sarasota! Amazed by this family owned, local restaurant. The fish is also super fresh and of excellent quality. They do Omikase that you will never forget and will return for over and over again. Everything is always delicious. Be sure to try the Salmon belly, hamachi, toro and scallop nigiri! Chef Kevin’s talent is superb and Star and the boys are delightful! They will make you feel like family 💖
