The service and food was amazing! It was our wedding anniversary and they made us feel very special. They never disappoint.
Excellent prime filet (rare of course) accompanied by crisp, tasty shoestring onions and a one-pound Idaho baked potato with the works. Preceded by a fresh crisp Caesar salad. Followed by outstanding crème brûlée. All perfectly prepared and delicious. Good service. Nice ambiance. Of course we'll be back!
Tpp hot and much too noisy (see below) to eat outside - as requested - so we were seated in bar area. A very loud group was near us and we could not converse in a normal tone. The street in front of the restaurant - for the block approaxhing it in both directions - was closed off for a block party. Its music was so loud we could not have eaten, much less enjoyed the meal. We were moved inside quickly, but the restaurant certainly was aware of the party - permits are needed to close the street - and should have alerted us. Only minimal fuss upon arriving, but we were quickly moved inside.
First time here. Food was fantastic. Our server was amazing and very friendly. He knew the menu so well and made some very good recommendations.
High quality food, excellent team based table service. An expensive night out. Try the happy hour prior to dinner for good and reasonably priced cocktails. The ambiance is old school, dated, and worn. Was hoping for a more upbeat and updated environment. Glad I went once but no plans to return.
Our special occasion go to in Sarasota! Great food as always! Eric was awesome as our server.
We had Josh as our server and he was great. The tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly with garlic cloves and mushrooms. French onion soup was the best I've had and the corn side dish was definitely my favorite! The service we had was phenomenal from our waiter to the manager (I think) constantly checking up on us making sure everything was good. My husband loved their smoked old fashion and the pear cocktail I had was just right. Amazing steak dinner, amazing service!
Our party of 5 had 2 servers, and I'm not sure they talked to each other. Our apps were good and came out on time. Calamari was excellent but bacon app was 80% fat, though the sauce was awesome. Sat for almost an hour waiting for entrees with no communication from the servers. They rarely refilled our teas or sodas or even the table water (though sodas don't have free refills). Entrees and sides were excellent, though my husband's filet was medium-rare when he requested medium-well, so he didn't finish it. They also took the bread away when they brought the entrees, which we thought was odd, as we would've appreciated keeping it. Overall, food was good, but service was subpar, and we would've expected far better. Maybe the service was a fluke, but they weren't that busy, either.
As always, Hyde Park did not disappoint. The food and service was top notch. We live in downtown and even with all the wonderful restaurants surrounding us, Hyde Park is still our favorite.
Bone in filet Oscar was fabulous

Dear Mr. Steve Novak,
My name is Clarence Ridley, and it was a genuine pleasure to meet you on Saturday, September 20th. I am writing to share my feedback from our dining experience at Hyde Park that evening.
My daughter and I chose your restaurant for our dinner based on a high recommendation from my investment banker, who praised your establishment. We were looking forward to a delightful evening.
We were initially impressed by the warm welcome from your hostess and your swift action to accommodate our request to move to a quieter table. Our waiter was prompt and provided an excellent introduction to the menu, which set a positive tone.
However, as the evening progressed, we encountered a few issues that impacted our experience. After other guests were seated near us, it seemed our waiter became less attentive. We experienced significant delays in service, including long waits to place our order and to receive drink refills—one of which was unfortunately forgotten.
The food, notably the steaks and lobster tails, was delicious and cooked to perfection, a testament to your kitchen’s skills. However, the side dishes did not meet the same standard. The spinach was passable, but the au gratin potatoes and corn were disappointing, with the potatoes appearing overcooked.
Additionally, when it was time to box our uneaten food, the waiter left the boxes at our table without offering assistance, which seemed out of step with the level of service expected at a fine dining establishment.
I want to reiterate that the initial service and the quality of the main dishes were commendable, and meeting you was a highlight of our evening. However, the lapses in service and the quality of the sides were notable.
I trust this feedback is received as constructive, as I believe it can be used to enhance the dining experience for future guests. Thank you for taking the time to read my comments. We appreciate the efforts of your team and hope that our next visit will reflect the high standards that Hyde Park is known for.
Warm regards,
Clarence Ridley

Definitely a different vibe. Their happy hour menu is phenomenal. Truffle fries are ?. The bar gets packed quickly but it was worth waiting. I am planning to come back and have a formal dinner.

The steakhouse provided a table that I requested in my open table comment section. The service was fabulous. My husband's Japanese Wagyu steak was amazing! Nothing compares to Japanese Wagyu. My filet was delicious. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The lobster escargot was not great. The flavors just did not meld together. The lobster was rubbery. The French onion soup was delicious. Dessert was butter cake banana foster style done table side. Quite impressive. I would definitely go back if in Siesta Key again.
Bone in filet was as good as advertised by the waiter. Brussels sprouts and carpaccio were amazing. Wait staff very attentive but not overwhelming. And Irish whiskey at the end was perfect.
