Ichiban Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Permanently removed from my Grubhub options going forward. The worst food I've eaten in a long time. Bad ginger dressing. Bad dumplings and sauce. Worst fried rice I've ever eaten. I've ordered from them before and it wasn't this bad. I cannot recommend them, ever.

Can’t say anything about the sushi, but the fried rice was so dry and tasteless… I really hope it was just a one-time thing, especially since this place has such great reviews.

Not a bad restaurant. The sushi was okay—not the best, but definitely not terrible. It’s a really casual spot, so if you’re in a hurry and just want to get in and out, it’s a solid option. They also offer an all-you-can-eat menu for a set price. Its a budget conscious place.

I really don't even know where to begin about how wonderful and accommodating the staff at Ichiban is!
For starters I unfortunately have deathly allergy to seafood. I've always thought I was just out of luck in not being able to try sushi. Until lastnight a group of friends and I went to Ichiban we had an amazing waitress named Kasey she was super nice and made sure all of our need where met. But what really drove me to write this review is that I got to have sushi for the first time. Kasey told the Sushi chef Patrick that have a sever allergy so he went above and beyond for me and made sushi without any fish or shellfish. The presentation was second to none (I should have taken a picture but I was so excited to try the food) and the flavor combinations he came up with OH MY GOD SO GOOOOOOD.

I would highly recommend Ichiban to all my friends and anyone who ever asks for a sushi place to try especially if they have any sort of seafood allergies. 10 our of 5 stars for sure! I can't wait to dine there again!!!

Saw the manager( PATRICK) not wearing gloves cross contaminating while rolling sushi. Wiping tools and hands on same towel. Moldy cutting board touching other surfaces like handles and food.

When i asked him why he does not wear gloves - he said i need a lesson about sushi ?!? He brushed off my concerns and continue d by mocking me, never saw him wash his hands. He said cross contamination rules depend on the state!!!

Ive been in hospitality for over 15 years, the guy is a joke.

The sushi was good and the plum wine was tasty. Overall pleased. The server was slightly under attentive and the wall looked like if you turned the lights on that they would be dirty.

Not a great experience. Why were my scallops on the side and not on my roll? Did not finish the meal. If they made an error why would they not remake the roll? They did take it off the bill. Not really sure why this place has a 4.5, I prefer grocery store sushi.
