I have wanted to like this place since it is close to my house but it's dirty and they have dirty business practices...They have been cited for high priority health violations as reported by Sarasota Harold (live roach activity and time/temperature control) in the past and temporarily shut down. When you walk in appears dirty. They had lower pricing on their website and charged a higher price when I went to pickup. I pointed it out to the worker and they did not honor the price on the website. My most recent visit, I noticed a 4% convienice fee charged on receipt. No explanation, no signage. Crust is terrible. il panificio... More like make you ill panificio... AVOID THIS PLACE

Il Panificio Pizzeria is a gem in our downtown. I have been coming here for twenty years. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is like a step back in time to a warm, welcoming place. Having pizza and a bottle of Chianti under a Vespa is so romantic. The customer service is absolutely top notch. Paco opens the wine and brings it to our table. The staff is friendly and always provides great service. Thank you.

Got 2 slices of pizza and a drink which was $12. The pizza was super thin and soggy, also tasted burnt. I would have enjoyed a Lunchables pizza or domino's more than this. Definitely won't ever come again. No wonder there was literally no other customers there. Guy working was also not friendly and spent his time on his phone. 0 stars.

Pizza tonight in Weston (Ft. Lauderdale)! Friends driving from Tampa to Ft Lauderdale and made a pick-up of 3 large pizzas that I had pre-ordered from the Main St location. Paco took my phone order and everything is perfect. 450° oven to reheat and WOW, delicious… il Pacifico for dinner. Exactly as I remember from our Longboat Key days.
