The food was delicious and the ambiance was top notch. The server was pretty good. A salad took a really long time to make. The only real complaint is that the Maître D' was not warm or welcoming, had an attitude from the beginning, kept cutting us off when we were trying to clarify if we could still have the breakfast buffet, and had us stand and wait for over 10 minutes while we could see that over half the patio was empty, and completely ignored our verbal request to be seated by the railing, so we had to ask the person who was seating us to switch our table.

We love the atmosphere and food at Jack Dusty's. My meal was excellent but my husband's grouper was tough/overcooked. Service was great.

We were celebrating my husband's birthday. Mike is an absolute fantastic waiter, very attentive and had great suggestions. The siren cocktail was delicious, nice and refreshing. I can see why it is on the Forbes 500 cocktail list. The smoking jacket was delicious as well, nice and smoky, I can see why angels envy made a specific barrel bourbon for JD‘s specifically. The cocktail was served table side with an engraved ice cube. Absolutely a fantastic presentation. The double port chop with black truffle risotto was out of this world, one of the best pork chops I have ever had. The cioppino was excellent, seafood was fresh and sauce paired with perfectly with it. The surprise “happy birthday” dessert was very generous. The outdoor seating was amazing. Beautiful decor and nice and quiet. Overall fantastic dining experience. One of the best we've ever had in Sarasota. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so special!

One of our party of 3 received the wrong entree. Our waitress contacted the very harried manager who angrily asked us what happened as if somehow this was OUR fault. 45 minutes later the entree appeared. No apologies, no monetary rebate. This was not our waitress's fault. Clearly management screwed up royally.

We always enjoy our lunches at Jack Dusty. Yesterday was no exception and our waiter whom we've had before is always fantastic. He overseas everything and make sure that we are well attended.

Jorge treated us to amazing lunch as always. Brought out blankets and heaters for the cold and always service with a conversation and smile. Often visit here specifically to see him. Food and drinks are always good.

On my 76 birthday it was a disappointment. For no good reason it was difficult to be seated at a table accommodating five people despite making the reservation two plus months in advance. Hostess stand was confused and tried to seat us so my chair was in the service walkway. Once seated service took a long time to come and provide water and take drink and appetizer order. After that service was quite good and food was good. Drink service was VERY slow and overpriced. I would not have expected such a poor experience at a Ritz.
Sunday brunch was a treat! The food is great, the views are terrific. Service was a bit slow, but I suspect that is because we chose to order rather than use the buffet.

For the exuberant price of the food, the taste was awful. Was really wanting to take my girls out for a nice night and no one liked their food not one of us. Except for the french fries were good ha ha. Our drinks were never refilled. We were rarely checked on, but it was a very pretty hotel will not be back there to eat ever again. Service and food was less than subpar.

We dined ay Jack Dustys for Christmas day dinner. Although we were seated right next to the check in station which was not ideal, we found our meal to be delicious and our drinks where amazing! Our waitress Gina was excellent! She was polite, attentive, personble. she made the whole experience! Thank you!

I have dined several times at Jack Dusty and love the restaurant. I do not know if they had call ins but our service was slower than normal. For 6 people we were there close to 3 hours with no appetizers, main course and some had dessert. It was a holiday but slower than a usual experience.
