It wasn't the best deep dish pizza but good enough. Their Chicago hot dogs is spot on! And so let's get back to the pizza. It the large sausage and mushroom. Sausage taste legit Italian sausage. I am okay with the can mushroom. What did't grade high was the sauce, it lacked the flavor I am accustomed or at be closed enough. The dough was burnt yet not crispy all around. The large deep dish cost $27.99 and the Chicago hot dog was $5.79. Something to ponder about the prices but you know you they are located at a higher rental district. As far as service, they were friendly and fast. Yes I can recommend joey.s and I am sure you will something on the menu.

Easy walk from hotel and good food. Salad was huge and so was calzone. Finished with a canelloni which was also good.

Joey D's pizza after a beach day is a really good combination. My friends and I went to Joey D's after hitting the beach for dinner to go. We picked up a large pepperoni pizza for $20. It was enough pizza for 4 and was super delicious. The pizza sauce was robust and pepperonis a plenty! If you like your pics with a little grease this is your spot! Note the pizza was cut into squares!

Pizza is not good, order wrong and difficult dealing with staff. My pizza was made completely wrong, called and asked for a refund. Spoke with manager who said he would refund the order. Waited a week, wasn't refunded. Called back, he said he would refund it. Was never refunded. It wasn't even worth it to me to go back to ask about it because the food was so terrible. Gave them ample opportunity to fix the issue and they were either lying or just blowing me off. Either way, 0 stars, do not recommend.

Best Chi-town and Philly food south of the border. Already having a connection to both Chicago and Philadelphia, we decided to try the Chicago Deep Dish, the Chicago Hot Dog, and the Italian Beef Sandwich. Each was impressive and delicious. The hot dog had the special poppyseed bun and correct peppers. The deep-dish had crust that was tasty and moist, but very supportive of the toppings - nice! The cheese, sauce, and sausage were really good Italian-style toppings. The Italian beef sandwich comes dry, wet, or soaked (I think) with gravy - - love that! On top of all that, the waitress was spot on and the wine choices rounded out our meal!!

Chicago-themed eatery with pizza, pasta, et. Stopped in while visiting the area. Food and service was good! We had pasta and it was tasty. Two thumbs up!

I was walking down the street and happened to be hungry so i figured i would give Joey D's a try. I was warmly greeted by my server Mya who was very happy to help and despite me having a hard time deciding on what i want she did an excellent job in leading me in the right direction. I must say the food was good and my server Mya was more than willing to go the extra mile!!

We went here to try and get a cheap meal. Pizza was overpriced but their best menu item. The wings were terrible and undercooked, with minimal sauce on them. The pasta was very average. Only reason it was a 3 star is because the Pizza was decent but it was overpriced and lacking sauce.

Horrible service. I had to remind the waitress that I was eating outside. Then she didn't even bring silverware or napkins when food arrived. I had to ask 3 times to even get my fries brought to the table AND when I asked for a Pepsi she brought me less than a half a glass full ( including more ice than soda). She had to have been high on drugs because she was a complete space cadet. I am appalled at the way this buisness is ran and WILL NOT BE RETURNING since they seem to think my money isn't worthy.

Food was 5 star, service was 5 star, attitude was 5 star. This is now one of our favorite pizza places. We had a Monster of Midway pizza and the spaghetti Marinara, a final cost of around $52.00. Staci was our server and had a great attitude, she even told us we were her favorite table - I was giving her "fun grief" teasing and such. My only small negative has to do with the tipping recommendations. Most servers only have to claim 10-11% tips on their tax returns and most don't claim unless their establishment makes them, with a 1099. As everyone knows, the cost of food products is higher now than it was pre-pandemic. We also know there is a supply issue. That has made the dining receipts much higher and I don't believe the gratuity should follow that cost increase. So, taking that into consideration, receipts currently suggest tips for servers at 18, 20 and 22%. I would like to see them reduced to 12, 14 and 16% - if they are even placed as suggestions on the receipts, at all. Just my opinion. We will return to this establishment for sure.

I can't rate the pizza, but the Greek salad was awful. The worst Greek salad I've had for a long time! I specifically asked if it was mixed greens, the cashier said yes, but it ended up being old iceberg lettuce only. Hardly no feta, I'll try to post a pic Poor service as well. Very disappointed

The pizza is great, the rest of the menu is impressive. The service was fantastic. Definitely a gem to find.

My server, Jules, was very attentive. The cheese Steak sandwich was delicious. Thanks and I will return.

All their Pizzas are the best, from their thin crust to the Sicilian style crust. Service is always good. They are our go to pizza place
