The Mahi with pineapple risotto is phenomenal and the shrimp and grits rival any Lousiana fare....we love that it is a smaller local place with friendly staff. We will definately be back!!
Hands down some of the best Shrimp Scampi I've ever had. We ordered Bang Bang Shrimp for appetizers, then ordered the Fried Cod and Shrimp and the Shrimp Scampi for our meals. DELICIOUS!! The kiddos had the Chicken Tender and Fries meal off the Children's Menu and commented that the chicken strips actually tastes like real chicken! Lol

I was coming back to Sarasota from central Florida and craving seafood. I’ve eaten at Kacey’s once before and remembered it being pretty good and fresh seafood. I ordered a bowl of gumbo, shrimp and grits (which I had there before), and the bang shrimp. Everything had a sweet flavor. The shrimp sauce for the bang shrimp wasn’t hot or spicy, but really sweet and reminiscent of honey mustard. The gumbo wasn’t good at all. Very mushy and everything had a dark muddled flavor....
