Coming from a big city, good sushi is very hard to come by here is Sarasota. I’ve tried many sushi places in sarasota. Hands down the best and freshest sushi in south Sarasota.

Sushi was very good and priced reasonably. Staff was very attentive and friendly. An interesting mix of craft beers and sushi. The selection of rolls was outstanding. And the quality was very good. Will definitely be back and recommend it to others who were visiting in the area who are locals and want some good food. Atmosphere was very comfortable and not overdone. Good job overall!

Great service and tap list. My wife loved the lychee Sake. The sushi however, was just “ok”. For the same price (the two of us spent $90 before tip) you can find much, much better sushi around town.

I’ve been going to Kazus for over 10 years. I tried ordering takeout and when I called someone answered the phone and hung up without saying anything. Called back only to for the line to beep and get disconnected. Tried using another phone to call and the line was turned off. I called an hour before closing time... horrible horrible service. Went to get take out over at Tsunami instead.

Love sushi and love trying new places. Fortunately, I have found my place. Kazu’s 2.0 has the best sushi that I have ever had. Not only that but the customer service is outstanding. Love going there and love taking friends to try the best sushi in town. It’s definitely worth the 30 minutes drive. Highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed!!

Got takeout due to the pandemic, so I can't comment on the service, but the rolls were good and the menu had a variety of sushi and other dishes. The Siam roll was an unusual combination and both of us liked it.
