Not allergen free!!! After 10 years of loyal business, tonight was unbelievably disappointing and frankly unacceptable. This shop has always been able to accommodate peanut-free ice cream—until suddenly, and without warning, they “decided not to” tonight. No sign. No notice. Nothing posted anywhere.

We stood in line for over 40 minutes, only to be told at the counter that they couldn’t serve us because they were apparently too busy to maintain their usual allergen-free practices. Busy or not, food allergies are not an inconvenience. Peanuts can literally kill someone, and the casual way this was handled was reckless.

If you’re going to change a long-standing allergen policy, especially one people rely on for safety, you have a responsibility to clearly communicate that before customers waste nearly an hour of their time—or worse, unknowingly put their health at risk.

Loyal customers were treated like an afterthought, and safety took a back seat to speed. We left frustrated, upset, and honestly shocked by how little care was shown. Do better—or at the very least, warn people.

All of the employees there were very nice and helpful to our family my grandson ordered Superman ice cream and pumpkin pie ice cream all of the food and treats were delicious would recommend coming to here.

We always have to stop at all Kilwins whenever We see one. Tasty, delicious, mouth watering, superb, mmm mmm good Ice Cream. This was probably at least the twentieth one that We have been too. I'm not kidding. Try the Ice Cream or Chocolates for Yourself and see what You think.

Just visited Kilwins. $9 for a single scoop of mint chocolate chip on a cake cone. Lol Tell me you're out of your mind without telling me you're out of your mind.
The gentleman serving me was quite nice but as he is handing me his carefully weighed tiny scoop of mint chip on a cake cone I asked how much and then I was told the $9 price. Lol I politely handed it back to him and said no thank you.
Thanks but no thanks. If you're a customer and pay that price then you deserve to be taken advantage of in life. 😂
I didnt know ice cream was now made with gold flakes. It's ice cream and there is literally zero special factor to it. Why Kilwins? Its not like the milk is from a special cow that only produces milk on the winter solstice every leap year in some far off land that you can only get to by being granted one wish from a genie. Then maybe just maybe I could see that kind of price for a scoop.
My wife just told me she had the same experience the other day after I just told her about mine today. She told me that for a milkshake and one tiny scoop on a cake cone it was $21. She just told me she is never going back again. Im never going back again either.
This just shows the lengths businesses big and small are willing to go to take advantage of people these days all in the name of inflation or whatever. No wonder tourism has dropped and people can't afford anything. I can honestly say this is the line in the sand for me. I hope it is for a lot of other people too. There used to be something magical about going out for ice cream. Now its just depressing. Thanks Kilwins.

The employee Camille didn’t use gloves to serve us at all, and don’t even get me started on the long, acrylic, unsanitary nails… It was disturbing the lack of awareness or training the employee has.

On the other hand, the ice cream, and employee with the head dressing was great. Lively and sweet
