We had an amazing time on our initial visit! The waiter was so helpful in guiding our choice of delightful margaritas that pleased everyone's palate. Each of us savored an appetizer and main course, sharing the joy among us. Every dish was absolutely delightful. To conclude our feast, we indulged in two exquisite desserts ranging from Charro to Tres Leche. This dining experience has certainly earned a spot in our regular restaurant rotation.

I had the chile relleno (veg) and it was great! The enchilada sauce was 5 star along with the rice and beans which accompanied the relleno. Often the beans and rice are an after thought, but they were some of the best that I've had and that's saying a lot since I spend 40+ years in Colorado and have tasted my share of beans and rice!

Food awesome inspired Mexican. Drinks inventive. So pleased prickly pear margaritas offered as an option. Scallops well prepared Portions adequate. Service excellent. Acoustics is much better than most establishments, actually able to converse with my party without shouting! We look forward to our next dining experience.

Excellent portions and very delicious food. More than enough for leftovers. Service is good and attentive. Enjoyed the barbacoa and skirt steak ( which was quite tender).

We have been to your restaurant several times and had some excellent meals. Yesterday we dined at your restaurant and the waitress was excellent but the food was not very good. The beverages were excellent.Especially the margarita. My wife will comeback just for that. I had the pork shoulder and it was tasty but tough . So I didn't eat it all. My wife had octopus and had the same complaint. I ordered the Caesar salad which is my favorite salad and I order it in many restaurants in Sarasota. The dressing tasted like in came from a store bought bottle. We will probably be back and try something else on the menu and hope that not all of your entree's are so disappointing.

Love coming here. Tried brunch, apps, Frida lounge menu and now finally dinner. Our favorite drinks are the tamarindo margaritas and we had a super yummy guac with chicharrón and the Cochinita Pibil entree which was so rich in flavor. Can't wait to go back! The service is friendly and the decor so cozy., including outdoor seating.

First let me say that my meal was delicious , but I had to search for the beef that was supposed to be in my dish. Most at the table did like their dishes as well. My husbands rum and coke was missing the rum. Service was slow-really slow and the restaurant was having not a super busy night. Value-chili relleno with beef was almost $30. Okay, but I could have had the same dish at another authentic Mexican restaurant for almost half. And be just as delicious! And have had just that. And super loud in the dining area. I guess I am disappointed over all. Food was good but overpriced. Our service was so slow, it was painful. We still tipped our server generously because it's still hard work. But we won't be returning.

Wednesday night. It was not noisy. 3 other groups in restaurant. It was very clean upon walking in. No weird smells. Service was excellent throughout entire experience. We ordered chicken fajitas, carne asada and vegan fajitas. The chicken and carne were cooked perfectly. Everything was seasoned very well. The vegan fajitas were seasoned excellently as well. Such good flavors in every bite with every dish! My test for a good Mexican restaurant is if the rice & beans are good, and they were perfect here as well. Churros were crispy and tasty. Would go back again for sure

Best Mexican food we've had in the area; the menu has many special dishes. The elote, fajitas, chile rellenos were amazing. Portion sizes were huge so come hungry. Homemade chips and guacamole, salsa, queso were great appetizers but don't eat too many before dinner comes. Service as excellent.

One of the best Mexican restaurants we've been to! Food was super high quality, starting with homemade chips and salsa which were great. Chicken tortilla soup was insanely good, fresh and well made, with avocado slices a nice touch. I had picadillo beef chili relleno which were outstanding! And Mexican coffee (their specialty coffee) was amazing too! Service was attentive and quiet ambiance with nice music in the background. Great experience, we'll be back!

The food is the star here. Every guest was delighted with their meal. The ambiance is basically just quonset hut but wasn't too loud for lunch. The serverice is SLOW, so don't make plans for after. There were only two other tables and our waiter disappeared right when we wanted to grab our bill and run. After dropping the bill, he never reappeared, and he never returned my card. I ended up having to retreive my card from the machine myself. Nice staff, but very distracted.

We frequently eat here with different friends. Experience is always the same. Great food and good time. Never lets us down. Ceviche is outrageously good.

The restaurant was seriously overbooked. Had to eat outside since there were no available tables inside. Appetizers were finished before drinks arrived, and the main course took an hour to come. Our waitress was wonderful though.

We've had better experiences at this very good restaurant, however on cinco de mayo they were so busy that they couldn't keep up. Drinks took 20 minutes and our whole dinner took over two hours due to extremely slow and inattentive service. Don't ever sit at the tables in the back room.
