It was our first time stopping in . We didn’t know one side closes at 3 , we walked in at 2:55 and Austin the bartender was super welcoming and made us drinks. We got our drinks and walked over to the Frida lounge, which opened at 3 for happy hour , to order food and eventually have more cocktails and Angel was just as fantastic. He is very knowledgeable , skilled and knows his cocktails . Had a great experience thanks to these gentlemen , can’t wait to come back .

I love, love, love this place! Alexa was our amazing server this evening and we couldn’t have been better taken care of. The authentic food and drinks were delicious and the ambiance is the coolest in town. Can’t wait for my next meal here!

Really enjoyed the vibe, authentic Mexican food and service. I do prefer light thin tortillas vs. thick and heavy, but the rest was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

My fiancée and I decided to try Kolucan for dinner today, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. We were excited to sample their cuisine, but the food was truly disappointing. The enchiladas were bland and lacked any real flavor, while the steak fajitas were overcooked and tough.

We were shocked at how poor the quality was, especially considering the price we paid. It felt like a complete waste of money, and we left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. Save your time and money and look elsewhere!

Our entire evening was fabulous, and the food was utterly outstanding. Without any doubt, the food at Kolucan is by far the most delicious and authentic Mexican food in all of Sarasota and Manatee counties.

First time and can't wait to return. The server was so sweet, the marg flight was whimsical and delicious. I count resist the enchiladas, they were perfect. My husband had the scallops which were served on some wonderful chewy grain with a delicious sauce. The server brought deep, poblano sauce on the side. Very helpful as Ken doesn't like very spicy. Nice room, easy parking. All great.

I've always had a good experience at Konica. The service is always impeccable. We had to wait a while for our table even though we had a reservation. I guess the patrons enjoyed it so much they didn't want to leave. I ordered the scallops entree which was delicious. Others ordered the short ribs, shrimp and chile rellenos. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Guests who ordered the mocktais also said they were dry good.

I would not recommend this restaurant. It was my first and probably last visit. Some members of the staff were very unfriendly. We ordered an appetizer, 3 waters, and a beer. I never received my beer. We felt unwelcome and asked to tab out. They tried to charge for the beer that I had never received. I asked to have it removed. Sever said she didn't know i ordered a beer that was clearly on the bill that she handed me. She took my card and went into the kitchen for probably 5+ minutes. I'm not sure why because she had access to a POS system behind the bar where she printed my check. The entire experience was unpleasant.

I love this place! Everything about it is a happy place, the ambiance, the service and for my money, this is the only real Mexican food in all of Sarasota and Bradenton Counties!
