We were in Sarasota for a long weekend for a wedding and stumbled upon Kurtos on our first day here, and it was all we could think and talk about all weekend!! We came back twice during our trip and I wish we could go back 100 more times before we head home in order to try every single sandwich on the menu. The Italian was phenomenal - fresh and flavorful. The La Vita e Bella was even better! But I think the Hungarian was my absolute favorite with such a unique combo of flavors you won’t find anywhere else. We also sampled the vanilla-watermelon swirl ice cream which led to having to get a chimney cone to go with it. To top it all off, the owner of Kurtos was such a delight. She was so thrilled to see us through the weekend and chatted to us each time we visited like we were all old friends. I am just devastated to be leaving Sarasota and Kurtos to head home, but will definitely make it back ASAP!!
An absolute gem!!!! We accidentally found this amazing restaurant after the Memorial Day Parade!! We loved it. Amazing and unique food and ice cream. If we lived closer we would be there every week. We all love it from my 80 yr old in Laws to my 4 young kids!!! Fantastic!!
