This is one of the top Italian Restaurants in Sarasota. Service is fantastic, the wine selection is excellent, and the food is absolutely out of the world, delicious. We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer, and it was the best I have ever tasted. You can't go wrong dining here.
Dined at La Violetta last evening. This restaurant knocks it out of the park. Everything the 3 of us ate was unbelievably good. My husband and brother had their rabbit dish-made with carrots in a sauce-they both loved it. I had a risotto that was cooked perfectly. A special stuffed zucchini flowers was split between myself and husband. What a treat. My brother had tripe which he raved about. Our server Frederico was attentive and a pleasure. My husband and I had dinner at La Violetta - for the first time last night. We are from PA where we have several wonderful restaurants -- and my husband's Italian roots are from Northern Italy. La Violetta was very impressive. The owner was very gracious and welcoming. The food was exceptionally good. We loved everything we tried and are looking to more delicious meals in the future.
