The Latin Quarters restaurant offers a taste of Puerto Rican cuisine, with dishes such as chicken soup, Churrasco, and steak mofongo. The mofongo, a plantain-based dish with pork, olive oil, and garlic, is particularly noted for its subtle banana flavor and large portion size. The restaurant also features soothing saxophone and guitar music, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Guests are greeted warmly upon arrival, with friendly and attentive staff making everyone feel welcome, whether seated inside or outside. The service is exceptional, and complimentary soups served with meals add to the enjoyable experience. The food consistently lives up to cultural expectations, with flavorful options like Bacalaitos, zurullitos con queso, empanada de pizza y carne, and tostones. The owner usually ensures quality and service are maintained, making it a popular spot for families and gatherings. The lively, welcoming environment captures the spirit of Puerto Rican hospitality, and many visitors find the food nostalgic and authentic, especially the pork and pasteles made with yucca root or plantains.
