It's a great place to relax, but if you move the table and space further away, you have to respect that! You are paying for a service and you also pay for your privacy of space. I think the money should be refunded because people were crowding into the space and table we reserved. It is disrespectful to us who paid to enjoy the show, to have to leave early because they couldn't enjoy it in peace.

I'm going to give it two stars for the lack of control at the Roberto Gonzales event. We paid 220 dollars, plus extra food and drinks for table #5 right in front of the sound horns to comfortably watch the show, but as 12 am arrived for Roberto to leave, people began to gather almost on top of the table. platform to the point of not showing anything even standing up. People were crazy, pushing and shoving us, trying to move us from the table. The lack of respect was so great that the people who did not have a table began to put beer tubes on my table that even ours took and on several occasions they responded in a bad way if I did not let them do that. They didn't respect that my daughter's children were there to come and run us over. In other places they determine the space to avoid these unpleasant inconveniences. I know Roberto and I worked as a musician with several of the members of his band and it was a pleasure to see him there at his concert. I have good references about the place and it was the first time we went since they recommended us for the food and the atmosphere but security got out of hand and we decided to leave the place. Thanks to a colleague, we tried this restaurant for the first time and loved it! Soothing saxophone and guitar music. The chicken soup appetizer was delicious but it was a hot day in FL so I don’t finish it all. My husband ordered Churrasco (Skirt steak) which came with 3 sides. Huge portions! I ordered the steak mofongo. Mofongo is a plantain +pork+olive oil+garlic. Very subtle banana flavor, like savory mashed potatoes. My portion will feed me for 3 meals. 10/10

The food was very good and so was the service. What I didn't like were 2 things that force people to pay tips and there is no law that says it is mandatory to pay a tip at the percentage that the restaurant imposes when the tip is a thank you from the consumer. Second, they charge $3 for an additional dish. I don't see it as fair to be able to share my food with my children. For my part, I will not return and I do not recommend it, no matter how good the food is.

Having married into a rather large Puerto Rican family, and visiting them in their new found homes in Sarasota/Bradenton FL, I was amazed having a 20+ family reunion at the Latin Quarter restaurant- it was like being back in PR again! The amazing food ( Mofongo, Bacalaitos, Tostones, etc) The service, ambience, decor, and friendliness were " muy simpatico!

It was unfortunately a let down during my last visit with Latin Quarters. Service was speedy, and our waitress was nice, but uninformed on the food and juices when we had questions. I received my Alcapurria de Yuca with paper still attached (I'll note it was fairly large and hard to miss) and fried into it, the juice was made with concentrate and didn't taste anywhere near fresh. The maduros were fine, and the bacalao was decent, but every other measure failed to meet expectations, especially at the price.I'd suggest FIVE GUYS next door ?
