A very nice little Cafe. This place serves a good breakfast and has good coffee. And it serves up a good lunch special. One should call to find out what's being served

Sandwiches are WAAAY over priced for the quality. (In my opinion) My sandwich looked like it was just thrown in the box and the service was sub par.(Surprised because it's Morton's Market; one of the best places in town)

I use to really enjoy this café however all of the employees have since changed. There is one employee in particular who has short brown hair and she is kind of awful. She is really rude to customers sometimes, and usually very stressed and frazzled. I try not to go there anymore unless I'm in a time crunch time yesterday. Yesterday I bought some cantaloupe and when I got back to my work I opened it and almost threw up it smelled awfully rotten. I didn't have time to bring it back so I just threw it away.

Confusing It was busy when I walked in for lunch today. It is a small place, not many tables. It seemed like it was an order at the counter type place, but there wasn't a counter. I never did see a menu, but I did see a whiteboard with a handwritten item, perhaps a special of the day? It was grilled chicken with a pesto sauce, and some sides. There was a friendly person behind a cooler of prepackaged items, and I realized I needed to talk with her. I gave her my chicken order and she directed me to pay at the register. By the time I got to the front of the sloppy line and told the cashier what I had ordered, the food was already ready and bagged. I did see a third person in the back, I think you can get sandwiches made. Had my food, no place to sit, so I headed outside where I knew there were some picnic tables scattered around. They were all occupied, so I ate in my car. It was in the car where I got the first look at what was in the bag. No points for presentation. This was a warm lunch with a protein, a starch, and some veggies. The pesto sauce helped make the meal. It wasn't bad, and it wasn't very expensive at all. The Café is located in the Sarasota Historical Courthouse, and to me similar to a little café inside an office building. They are open to the public, had an advertising sign out on the sidewalk. The visit was confusing to me, and I would have preferred to not eat in my car, but if you worked in the building or even in the area and stopped in regularly, you would know the routine and it is probably nice to have something close to a home cooked meal.

Coffee refills/own mug are just $1. Good place to grab something quick. No lines or waiting. They need to update their credit card system to take Google Pay. Also they close too early at 3pm. They need to stay open till at least 5pm/close of business day.
