Do not spend your money here. Very dishonest and unprofessional. They are selling fake Labubus and refuse to refund. My 10 year old was so excited until we opened the box. Not only are they selling fakes and claiming they are real, they are price gouging HARD. I asked so many times before purchasing if it was real and the woman running the counter is incompetent. The “owner” is unresponsive. I wouldn’t even buy their bakery stuff after this. How could you do this to children?
Sold us a $58 “Labubu” toy for our kids. We immediately realized it was a fake knock off version and they refused to accept a return/refund and said we had to contact the owner. The owner did not respond to any messages. Had to contact the credit card company to cancel the charge. This place is very dishonest and unethical. I am surprised this kind of scam is allowed to go on right in the middle of UTC.
I’m very disappointed with Le Macaron at University Town Center. They are selling what appear to be collectible “macaron-themed” toys or figures (actually rubber dolls) for $58 each — marketing them to young children as if they’re authentic or high-value. What we received were clearly cheap, low-quality rubber toys, some of which even started breaking as we opened the boxes.
To make things worse, they have a strict no-refund policy, even when the items are defective and clearly not as advertised. This kind of practice feels dishonest and exploitative, especially targeting kids and unsuspecting families.
I expected better from a business operating in such a reputable location. I’m sharing this so other parents and customers are aware before making a purchase.
The absolute worst bakery in the area. Placed an order for delivery via DoorDash and they just canceled it without notice. Go elsewhere where the business actually wants your business.
Le Macaron has the best gelato and pastries etc.
I have a super weakness for French macarons, being a baker myself. There is a reason these tiny cookies cost as much as they do, and since the last time I bought any from here several years ago, I was pleasantly surprised that inflation hasn't driven the price up higher. This little stand in the mall had an impressive array of confections, ranging from meringue cookies, chocolates in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, candy cigars, and fancy, shiny lacquered truffles. The lady running the stand was very kind and friendly. Macarons here do not contain any preservatives, so keep them refrigerated in an air tight container and consume within 3 days of purchase, if you don't gobble them all up right away! If you're allergic to almonds, be very cautious since these are made with almond flour. Otherwise, they are worth a try!

Cute little find in the middle of the mall, they have a variety of flavors and the ones I tried were fresh and tasty. It was a little less than $12.00 for six macarons of your choice, they are only about the size of a half dollar coin, but honestly not a bad price for the area and quality. Apparently they also have storefront locations also in the area.
I love ? the Red Velvet Macaroni. They are Delicious ?
We got a dozen split among six flavors and they were ALL delicious. Pistachio and Tiramisu were far and away the best, absolutely stunning. Not cheap but well worth the price for a little treat. We're looking to see if they ship, ha.
Pointless stopping at this location… they just close early. No note, no reason, nada. Waste of time that was.

And what would you think a 9 year olds favorite flavors would be? You guessed it! Rose and lavender! Ok ok, you didn’t see it coming. We normally get our macarons from Toothsome Chocolate Factory, but these were FAR BETTER! Highly recommend.
The best chocolates in the world! Quite pricey, but SO worth it!
I didn't enter the store due to a dog running around the shoppe. I have wanted to visit St Armand's Circle for several years. It might have been different pre-pandemic, but I had high hopes for seeing the area. 1. Even though EVERY street/ crosswalk/ mid-street crosswalks exhibited HUGE signs - "MASKS MANDATORY, INSIDE and OUTSIDE - hardly ANYONE was wearing a mask... and we were made to walk on slanted sidewalks to stay 6' away from the unmasked persons not adhering to the rules. Many of the stores were closed or for rent or out-of-business. I was going to enter "le macaron - French pastries" until I observed a large dog running around inside by all the food (it was NOT an ADA service dog). PETS in a food business illegal? I would have shopped had it not been for the TONS of unmasked people and dog in the pastry shop. I suppose Sarasota doesn't need the business with nearly 10,000 people diagnosed with COVID in Sarasota County. One restaurant manager on the Circle BRAGGED that he had COVID, twice!
Wonderful
Such a Fun little place in Sarasota. The attendant was helpful with picking our macaroons. The caramel and pistachio were our favorite. They also had a nice selection of gelato and other French pastries. We hope to stop here again on our trip.
