My wife and I are fans of Libby's and view it as something of our "go to" restaurant. We always find the food to be excellent, the servers very friendly as well as efficient, the ambiance welcoming, and the overall value worth revisiting.

After waiting an hour for our food, server notified us he forgot to put in our order and forgot what we wanted. Reluctantly agreeing to order a second time we were assured our food would be out very fast. Twenty minutes later we finally received our meal. Manager came over and apologized for their mistake and said he would work something out on our bill. After receiving the check, we realized the not-so-generous manager “worked out” removing our two iced teas. I'm sorry, but waiting an hour and a half for our food when the restaurant wasn't even busy is unacceptable and comp'ing $5 worth of iced tea is a slap in the face. Leadership comes from the top down. What this manager did was anger two repeat customers who will not return. Due to our experience we felt it was inappropriate to tip for our disappointing experience, but in turn the server too was ripped off when all the manager had to do was comp our pretzel appetizer or discount or meals. This would have cost him and Libby's nothing, satisfied us and earned a tip for his server. Fortunately, there are plenty of other options in the Lakewood Ranch area to eat. As they say, you can't find good help these days.

Friendly staff. We had the meatball appetizer, which was delicious. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the Santa Fe salad with blackened chicken. He told me 3 times how fabulous it was, so I think he's found a new favorite here. We'll be back.

Frequently go to Libby's in Lakewood Ranch. Food is always consistently good and broad enough menu everyone can find what they like. Service has always been good for us. Excellent location in corner of University and Lorraine and never a parking issue. Think the biggest plus is the menu has different food types that can accommodate the salad to meat lovers.

Restaurant was very warm and muggy. Made for unfortunately an uncomfortable meal. Food: Fish and chips were odd. Basically a few nuggets. Not a nice piece of white fish. The “chips” are ultra thin fries. Not bad just not a true thicker cut chip. Friends got: Burger looked very good Sirloin looked very good Definitely would go back in cooler weather or if AC gets fixed. Service was ok.

The restaurant are have flies - really annoying. Food is not good, just OK and overpriced for the quality. Libby's in Sarasota is a better choice. Service was good

Very nice birthday brunch. There were seven and we were seated at our reserved time. For a large group the service was prompt for drinks, refills and meals.

The Caesar salad was blah. It needs a flavor boost. Wedge salad was delicious. I liked that it was layered with tomato slices on the bottom, creamy dressing and chewy bacon. The paloma was ok.

Love the menu! Have favorites, of coarse! Service is always perfect! We are there once every week. Our kids all love the fact that their meat is great quality.

We had the most incredible dining experience thanks to Elysia ! From the moment we were seated, she went above and beyond to ensure our evening was absolutely perfect. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and extensive knowledge of the menu were truly impressive.
Alicia recommended the perfect wine pairing for our steaks, and her suggestions for appetizers and desserts were spot on. She was attentive without being intrusive and made us feel like VIPs the entire time. It’s rare to find someone who strikes such a perfect balance of professionalism and genuine friendliness.
If you’re dining here, do yourself a favor and ask for Elysia . She’s a true gem and elevated our night to a whole new level. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait for her to take care of us again!
