Very solid as usual at Libby‘s. The nice weather makes it an even nicer place. They have the doors open to the outside from the bar and it seems like they put more receiving outside. I had fish and chips and they were terrific. We also had the tuna Tataki as an appetizer which was pretty darn good just needed a few more chips. Lots of tuna and avocado. My wife had the crabby, patty sandwich; pretty creative and tasty. Happy hour is a really good deal. I think we paid 10 bucks...
We come to Libby's for brunch because of the lemon ricotta pancakes and the service from staff. We were not disappointed with Grace as she provided great service with a smile. However the food was mediocre at best. Gone is the lemon ricotta pancakes, the ribs were dry and felt like it was reheated and the Cacio y Pepe special was not specially a knock out. I am not sure what is left unless bottomless mimosas and $5 Bloody Marys are your fancies.
Waiter and food were great. Hostess always wants to seat us in the very congested area where the take out is picked up . She seemed a little perturbed. But it is not a great area to sit.
