Tried calling to leave a message but your system wouldn't even allow that. AI kinda sucks when it comes to customer service. Big photos of food on your page? How about easy to read info? The photos of your menu are from 8 months ago, so I bet the prices are incorrect. Was with 10 folks who wanted to check it all out before stopping by. We went somewhere else. Glad we're headed to NOLA soon. No need to do all that there. But in SorrySota? Yea, we check it out, especially when my pals are restauranteurs.

Best burger in Sarasota they know what’s up

Being from Louisiana, I know and appreciate good seafood, and this was the best I’ve had in Florida. The oyster po’boy was excellent and the étouffée was outstanding—both full of flavor and exactly what you hope for when ordering Cajun seafood.
My mother-in-law had the smashburger and thought it was really good. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich, and honestly that was the only thing we weren’t impressed with. It seemed a little light on seasoning, but maybe the collard greens on the sandwich just threw me off—it was on the menu, just not my favorite combination.
That said, everything else was great. They even had Abita Strawgator on the menu, which was a nice surprise. I’ll definitely be back for the seafood. Oh, and the bread pudding was great! Enough for the three of us to share.

i travel full time, and it is rare i truly remember a restaurant. this one stands out. the food is incredible, the service is awesome, and you can tell the employees are cared for. austin & jaden are amazing, and i look forward to seeing them every time!!

Delicious, authentic Cajun food! The fried chicken thigh with red beans and rice is a favorite, and the collard greens are fantastic! If you’re a fan of true southern bread pudding, Lucky 8’s is absolutely the best; the hot pudding covered by buttery whiskey sauce is swoon-worthy!

Collard greens were A1 and the coleslaw was also delicious.
