My new favorite go to place! We stopped here last night because we were craving burgers, but got so much more than that! We honestly wanted to try everything on the menu in one night😂. We got the smash burgers, muffuletta, collard greens, chicken gumbo, and our daughter got the kids chicken fingers and fries. Seriously even her meal was delicious! My friend had been waiting to bring me to Lucky 8– I’m from the New Orleans area and have been wanting a real Cajun or creole restaurant in Sarasota for years. Not a review person at all, but this deserves a review! Service was above and beyond! Super cute, eclectic vibe inside! But overall the food was excellent! My husband is a burger connoisseur and could not get over how good the Smashburger was! Have not found someone in Sarasota to do it-quite right…. Until now! The Boudin balls, and the appetizer that has the crispy pork with the greens salad on top was incredible! Will definitely be adding this into our rotation!
