Overall terrible experience, for starters, there is no visible signage from the street so the place was very hard to find, we called to get help in finding the place and asking for clarification on the location and immediately received a snarky “well I don’t know where you are” from the employee on the phone, when we finally found it (no thanks to the employee) I made a joking comment to the employee about how hard the place was to find and the response was “well actually we have a sign right there” pointing to a neon sign in the window that doesn’t work and is not visible from the outside. We were the only people in there, and despite this, it still took 25min to receive our order (of only 3 coffees and breakfast sandwiches). In fact, a new customer came in and ordered and the employee stopped making our order in order to do the other customers first (despite them coming in 10min after us). And after all of this, the drinks and food we received were meh at best.Edit after owners response: Yes, you’re right I did leave after 10 minutes … because I was forced to leave behind my girlfriend who had to stay and wait for another 15-20min before she finally got the 3 drinks we ordered. Also, as stated, the sign apparently doesn’t work which isn’t the issue to begin with…the issue was your employees attitude and tone and saying it was our fault for not seeing a sign that does not work. Maybe next time you receive a poor review you can take the time to consider maybe the right response is to reflect and fix the problems and not to gaslight and demean your customers and clientele, which I can see is how you often respond to poor reviews. Will be telling everyone I can to avoid this place at all costs now that I see how even the ownership treats and responds to criticism. Hope you can come back once you get the wool out of your eyes and the obliviousness out of YOUR headspace :)

I generally have an amazing time here and the food is always great. But today when I walked in we weren’t greeted and not treated normally at all. The person serving us didn’t ask us how we were doing, didn’t answer questions we had and immediately turned us down when we talked about boba pearls. When other consult arrived they were greeted kindly and offered a bunch of help. I never thought I’d have to write a review like this for motonecko but here I am.

We found this place waiting on my son to finish a gaming competition. The Ramen and dumplings were great and so was the hospitality.

After spending 5 years in Los Angeles I was hoping for a good ramen find back home… this is not the place. Very unprofessional, no real kitchen, and the preparations for the dish itself was very unordered and quite frankly kind of gross! Mystery pork belly from an abyss of ingredients cooked and prepared in a toaster oven… the broth was made with sink water. The ramen is instant noodles. And worst of all it was all prepared without the use of gloves or at least a hand wash. Before my ramen was finished the employee decided it was a great idea to eat some pizza behind the counter. My mind was already made up. Absolutely do not recommend. Especially for a 15 dollar bowl of ramen. Stick to coffee, this place is doing too much.Edit: for an owner to respond that it’s okay to eat pizza, touch everything around the kitchen, and handle my food all without washing hands is hilariously petty. Never worked in a restaurant kitchen? I’ve worked in a Michelin star restaurant as a sous chef. Do not try to belittle people into believing that what you’re doing is sanitary and okay. The ramen isn’t the best in town. Yokoso ramen is 100 times better.*** continues to take shots at customers instead of actually engaging in making the establishment better. Very strange ownership, obviously no prior restaurant experience.

I was hoping for some good ramen. I paid $17 for some salty instant noodles with a few kernels of corn and two small pieces of overcooked pork. The most redeeming part of the dish was the egg, and even that was lacking flavor. Not worth the money at all.

Place is very nice! Every Thursday they hold Smash Tournaments and it gets pretty busy. Service is great! Although it is somewhat slow compared to other places as there is only one person manning the entire operation, but the place is nice so I didnt mind the wait and it is not too long. I highly recommend it if you like anime as well! The decoration is great and they have anime running in the TV.The food is good, especially the fat boy ramen, and the coffee is great!

Literally the most amazing chai, bao buns were absolutely amazing, so flavorful. I have never had ramen and wasn't convinced until I tried my friends and then proceeded to eat my own portion. It was amazing! Will be back. The vibes and prices were good too.
