Easy to order online and pick up in restaurant. Food was ready quickly and everything was correct. Turkey bacon club sandwich was delicious! Perfectly toasted, fresh ingredients in perfect ratios, loved it! Potato salad was on point! Cole slaw was a little bit dry but had great flavor. It is right next to my office so I will be in frequently for sure!!

Was on a quick lunch break. They were busy, but served me and my coworker fast! Tomato Basil Soup, house salad, and Italian sandwich.. All worth it. I'd definitely go back! Thanks.

Ordered wraps for lunch. Not impressed at all. Quality not there for the price which is disappointing because the staff was great and the service was quick for Togo.

Everything good. I would say the only bad part would be that the server never really came back and checked on us, never asked our food was, I never got a refill on my coke.. when she put the bill there she kind of forgot about us,

Oldest restaurant in Sarasota. Reminds me of a place you'd see in Brooklyn or NYC. The interior hasn't been updated since then, but the service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The food was average. I had a tuna sandwich that was store made but really underwhelmed. The soups were all loaded with cream, thick and salty. Not really a place to go if you are looking for healthy options.

This is not the Main Bar I remember. This was 13 bucks with a drink. Two slices liverwurst with one piece of cheese. It was embarrassing.Funny enough Chip, yes I have seen the prices. Are you shopping retail for a food service business? Yea, I've got a little experience on hospitality. I don't mind paying the right price for the product delivered. It's called value. And I don't mean a "value" meal. When you pay for an expensive steak it's worth the price. What I paid for is not equal to the price. If you would like I could layout a spreadsheet with the breakdown of product of liverwurst, which I have been to Jones Dairy Farm in Wisconsin to see it being made, the bread and the cheese and the food costs variables for different weights for each portion and then the menu prices with margin. Your response is a real glimpse into your vision of hospitality and it doesn't line up with mine. You have no empathy for a customer who is wanting a fair value versus price and the idea you aren't purchasing from a broadliner is a poor business decision on your part. From a long time hospitality worker in this town, and yea I actually worked at the main bar making sandwiches, none of this is good for the small mom and pop places in this town. Do yourself a favor and go eat at Millies on clark rd. You will pay the same price for what I paid for but at Millies it has "value". And be nicer to your customers on the internet Chip.

I’ve been coming here for 30 years and I’m never disappointed. The Italian and Sultan salad are my favorites but everything is delicious. In a hurry? No worries. They get you in and out in under 20 minutes. We need more places like this in SRQ.

Meh. For the price I thought it would be a lot better. The bread was good, the roast beef was kind of sad. I had the French dip, which was fine. Nothing special really. I expected more meat for $13.25. and it didn't even come with chips. Don't think I'll be going back for lunch anytime soon. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich which she said was good, nothing to write home about.
