Been coming here for years. Usually sit at the bar, tended most nights by Kelly. She’s always smiling, knows her drinks & will take good care of you. Mondays from 5:30 to 8:30 you’ll hear the whiskey-voiced singer-pianist Joe Thayer, who plays jazz standards, soft & classic rock, and a few pop tunes. Food’s excellent…lots of choices & a few daily specials—which sometimes go fast. Can get busy during the season…best to reserve in advance. Great place for holidays if you don’t want to cook!

We went to the Thanksgiving Buffet 2024, and all of the food and service was absolutely amazing!! The service was top notch and they attended to us the entire time. The food was beyond fresh and amazing!! We loved everything! Thank you so much.

This was our 3rd time dining here. First time was over 2 years ago and since we moved to Punta Gorda it’s a bit further drive but wow well worth it. Tonight we celebrated getting married and chose to have our dinner here. It did not disappoint. We started with shrimp Rangoon which was their own version of crab Rangoon but 100x better. We also ordered the crab cake which was good, we did enjoy the pickle veg that accompanied it. They still had the $40 restaurant week menu which My wife ordered, beef brisket poutine. It was my first time having poutine and wow amazing, brisket was so juicy, I couldn’t care too much for the cheese with it but overall great. By the time our entrees were served we were both getting full. I had the duck breast which the portion was huge. Best duck breast I’ve had. My wife had the skirt steak which she barely touched bc she was so full by that point but I’ll be eating that for lunch tomorrow. To end we had the bread pudding which topped it all off. Thank you to our server Audrey who was amazing!

As soon as we walked in we were in love with the piano and the paintings of some of the greatest music artists of all time on there and on walls throughout the restaurant. Every course was fresh and delicious and our server, Kelly was impeccable! She was friendly, attentive and helpful when ordering (plus she has the cutest hair color). If we lived in Sarasota we would definitely visit often! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I visited this dining establishment during the savor sarasota week. The brisket poutine was to die for and the marinated strip steak was one to write home about. As soon as you walk into the place you are met with a classy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super nice and the service is near instantaneous. I will 100% be returning here very soon.

Our family chose Mattison's for a birthday celebration. The service, recognition, and attention paid to the birthday girl made the evening all that more enjoyable. We ordered Shrimp and rice, Salmon, and two pizzas. All the dishes came out at the same time and were outstanding!
Attending a large work dinner party which rented out the entire back room. Service and food were excellent. Highly recommend

We just had an unbelievable experience for Easter Brunch.... we have eaten at the best of the best Capital Grille Ritz.... the quality here was by far the best.... @ $30 pp .... didn't go for the price .... but was delighted with the quality !!
