I have visited this place for YEARS. Really have enjoyed myself here. Last night on 11/7/25 I accidentally left my phone at the memories Lounge. I have visited here so much I felt it was safe.. especially after a fellow bar tender texted a fellow guest and assured me the phone was there. Woke on 11/8/25 and arrived at business hours Saturday morning. 11 am... Sharon was working. Popped up and told Sharon of my delicate situation. Sharon refused to search for my phone. She just wanted my drink order... I felt compelled to order a drink to get some info about my LIVE GPS on my iPhone location. It was LIVE where I was standing. Sharon refused to even look at my proof of my life feed of GPS with my phone location... I showed up later on to speak to her again about my phone location explaining 'sorry for being a burden and if she could just look one more time.. Sharon refused so I ordered another drink just so I could peep out and see if I could see what she couldn't? On shelves tables surfaces. I even went as far as bringing my labtop and watch to see if it would link to my phone in distance while Sharon watched... still no help. I showed Sharon again my LIVE phone location but she refused again to even take a peek at my proof. Left feeling exhausted. My phone was still charged and active showing a LIVE location at the Memories Lounge.... FINALLY after the 4th attempt at 7:45 pm same day. I show up, and the kind bartender that worked the evening shift on 11/8/25 look on the shelf with (small liquor bottles ) boom. There was my phone... no to Sharon yes to everyone else... my goodness. Love you Memories. Sharon 2 thumbs down.

Love this bar! Always great service, the drinks are very reasonably priced. It's one of the last bars in Sarasota you can smoke inside and the people that go there are generally pretty cool.

I’m not sure who was the guy that took care of me but my first experience in town I took another friend with me that was from a different country. We were speaking different languages so the bartender was shooting us different. I felt a lot of racism from him. it was very sad situation, but I try to avoid it at the end of the night. He charged me $25. I did not tip. I was gonna put cash and he still add self tip I did not want to make a scene about it because it wasn’t the right time, but it was a pretty sad experience. Shame to have people that are racist in your establishment.

This is a smoking bar. Service is usually pretty decent, as are prices. 1 pool table present. Plenty of locals and regulars throughout the day. Has a connected liquor store, so purchases are readily available depending on the hour.
