My first visit to the Metro Diner was outstanding, thanks to server Amy's exceptional service. She helped me navigate the menu, expertly describing dishes and suggesting options based on my preferences. We enjoyed a flight of mimosas and a bloody Mary, followed by San Francisco eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles, all of which were delicious. Amy's quirky and upbeat attitude created a welcoming atmosphere, and our food and drinks were promptly delivered. We even ordered a club sandwich and fish and chips to go for lunch at home. Thanks to Amy for a fantastic dining experience."

Metro Diner has one of the best breakfast deals in the area. The Bissell, for $11.99, allows you to get two eggs cooked how you like, hashbrowns, bacon, toast, and a short stack of pancakes. For me, I substitute a half waffle for the pancakes. Each time my wife and I have gone the food has been very good. The eggs, I get them scrambled, have always been cooked to perfection, in that they are not runny. The rest of the food, especially the waffle, has also always been very tasty. The only real downside I have experienced so far is their sugar containers are hard to use. They have old school glass containers with a silver lid that has a small round opening. The sugar, probably because of the humidity or coldness of the restaurant, clumps together making it impossible to pour out. I have had to ask for an extra spoon every time I have visited just so I could take the top off and scoop the sugar out. Adding rice to the sugar container would eliminate this. But Metro Diner is still well worth a visit.

It started off with my honey “would you like to go to breakfast”. I don’t go out much anymore due to poor customer service and poor food quality compared to back in the day. Our server this morning left me Impressed. Her customer service wasn't Fake nor was it Forced that’s RARE. Let me tell you Metro Dinner, You have a good one on your hands if you let her walk away for any reason that would be bad for your business. Heidi was naturally radiant, such a Beautiful Soul in that building.

I was pleasantly surprised that the biscuits and gravy measured up to the diner I used to frequent in NY and Jersey. The cherry on top was our server Heidi who gave killer service!
