Met one of the owners(son) at a bni event, rushed to get food before they closed to try it, his mom(owner) was super nice and we had a conversation while my food was being prepared. What an amazing little place, i can tell you the cuban sandwich was AMAZING, im always tasting cuban sandwiches and this one was definitely on the high score. My wife was craving a Cuban sandwich. Googledbit and this place was less than a minute away from where we were driving. The Cuban sandwich was huge and delicious. Also tried the rope Viejas empanada which was fabulous. The service was great and it's a nice clean restaurant. Will be coming back soon to try some of their other

I walked in today and asked for a breakfast but none of the breakfast included eggs. but that’s not what’s important, i walked in expecting to be treated well but the lady upfront treated me indifferently and her sour face makes for an awkward environment. the only one who was friendly in this establishment was the tall black hair gentleman.

I don't give it zero stars because it's impossible, today I ordered a pizza from Doordash from my little winery to try for the first time but I didn't know that the pizzas came with pieces of metal to eat! This is a total danger, be careful eating there, this is how my little winery takes care of its customers.

Wow. Just wow. Small family owned Cuban coffee shop and deli/restaurant that treats its customers as family. Have stopped in here periodically for coffee and a pastry or two and always came away impressed. So much so when we were hosting a large party (100 ppl) for the out of town guests attending my daughter’s wedding we knew just where to come. Jose (owner of Mi Bodeguita) sprung into action and put together a delicious buffet of salad, rice & beans, plantains, and Ropa Vieja, Included were ham and Swiss rolls as well as chicken empanadas as appetizers and guava & coconut pastries for dessert. The spread was beautiful and the food delicious. Our guests raved about the food. I highly recommend Mi Bodeguita if you are looking to cater a party. First class. Great service and great food. Oh and their Cuban coffee is the best in Sarasota.Edit: stopped by the other day for a quick coffee and decided to try the Cuban pizza my kids rave about. Ordered the pizza and a Cuban Tamale as well. Pizza was crisp around the edges and soft in the middle. Folded it in half and had a warm, cheesy pizza hot pocket. Perfect for a cold day. The tamale was delicious.
