Best empanadas I’ve ever had! I haven’t had much Columbian food before but Mi Tierra felt very authentic and family owned. It’s a small and modest place but with a very cool atmosphere. Adventures and foodies will love it.Kid-friendliness: It’s a small space without many options for picky eaters.

The food was definitely overpriced. My husband got steak and I got pork and it was so tough we couldn't eat it. And there wasn't much of it. But the service was great. We definitely won't be going back after spending $50. I was so disappointed.

The food was very good and made me feel at home, however the service was bad since the lady in charge of serving the diners is a bit rude with her treatment. When it came time to cancel I was surprised that I had to pay a mandatory tip of 15% of my bill if the bill was more than $25, they do not split the bill on purpose so that they can meet the requirement very easily, and To finish my bad experience when it came to complaining, the person told me: "If you can't pay that, you can't eat here", which seemed quite bad to me and leaves a lot to say. I didn't want to request a manager so as not to make the experience of my foreign guests bad, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it despite its food.

The Churrasco here is a solid 5 stars. I am a fanatic when it comes to steak and I "only" eat filet and typically Prime only. I would never eat skirt steak. EVER! That was until yesterday. My son took me here and made me order the Churrasco. I am forever changed. In fact, if you gave me the option of a Ruth's Chris Filet I would prefer the Churrasco with Chimichurro and Salsa at MI Tierra. It was incredible. I took some stars off because it's not a pretty place. But the food was undeniably incredible. A solid 5 stars. I will go back every time I come back to Sarasota and if you live here you should go.
