Best oysters I have ever had and I have been a oyster connoisseur for at least 35 years from when I lived in maryland. The oysters are humongous and that is so rare to find these days. Very friendly work team and you can see that they are very happy to be there and they are proud of what they offer to the customers. We're not in this area often, but my mother does live here and is getting older so we're trying to visit more. This place will be on the list to come back to for sure!

I love Monk’s food, mainly because of the oysters. The Oysters Monkafeller are delicious! The service is spotty though - sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s horrible. The atmosphere is alright…it’s just a lil’ hang out, nothing fancy. Because of the food, I always go back. I gotta say though, I haven’t been back in a while, because last time the service was so bad.
