munchies 420 has new owners. I've been coming here since they opened and let me tell you yesterday was one of the best parties ever the whole staff everybody the bands, the food. It is the place to go in Sarasota. They are incredible Dana Brad the whole Kitchen staff they went up and beyond and we had the best time it was my wife's birthday.!!!

This has been on my list since it was featured on Man vs. Food. We went to the bar for drinks great selection of beer and cocktails. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Fat Sandy: Chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, cheeseburgers, onion rings and macaroni and cheese. All the staff were very friendly an attentive. I will definitely visit again next time I am in the area.Vegetarian options: You have to try the Fat Hippie!

I remember not too long ago this place was impossible to get into!! Now it shouldn’t be a problem. There is a new owner, which is great and I wish them all the best!! That being said this is not munchies, it’s an over priced chilis! The portions have been cut more than in half…. It should be called snacks. Just a disappointment, this is like the place you go to when you’re mildly hungry now. The floor doesn’t stick any more and it’s very clean, but the skuzzyness is why you went to munchies in the first place. The portions used to be enormous, now microscopic. You can do better munchies. I’m sorry but this is what I experienced when I went. I will not return, I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Good luck in your food search but I’d avoid wasting time at this place.

Has to be under new managment or new owners. Usually amazing all around but most recent experience April 13, 2024 food was nowhere near good as usual as matter of fact it actually sucked. Previous times ive ordered Dankelicious Chicken Nugz it would be Nuggets glazed which is amazing this time was just a cut up chicek tender wasn't glazed/tossed/ they just poured way to much sauce on top when on plate, tasted bad.Fried oreos were good tho. Chicken ceaser wrap was good.Buddy ordered root beer took over an hour to get. Bartender said shed have to go to the inside bar so buddy says that's fine after hour wait has to ask someone else and they finally bring him one. Then he asks for refill and again "I'd have to go inside bar" so buddy just decided dr pepper at this point.Another friend order fat sandy (i usually love to get) which came out lukewarm.Has become more worried about becoming a college kid bar scene instead of the good vibes Munchies 420 cafe I remember in high-school.

Under new ownership as of 3 weeks ago. Go hang out with Brad at the back tiki bar. Great fries. Great spot. Lots of cool stuff coming at this place. Met the new owners and they are awesome! First time there and I’m so excited to see what’s to come!!Vegetarian options: I’m mostly vegetarian/eat seafood occasionally and was delightfully surprised at how many vegetarian options. They even have plant based chicken nuggets on their kids menu which is right up my daughter’s and my alley.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. Kids menu. Fried everything so you feel almost as you’re at the fair with all the options. Great place!! ❤️❤️

Great place!!! Karaoke is fun and Jake is the best bartender I’ve ever had! Munchies has some of the funnest vibes, even after I broke my leg there I kept coming back because it’s fun as hell. Rachel rocks and always makes great drinks and fun time!!! ❤️❤️
Haven’t been to Munchies in months! Came tonight and Rachel was great! I don’t usually leave feedback because I bartend on the island but this is gonna be my new spot to come after work!
