Oh my goodness the food was delicious! They just opened recently and are still getting the kinks out. They’re from Salerno, Italy. The decor is simple trattoria. There were 4 of us. We shared arancini- very good and a Cesar salad. Extra anchovies added on the side. Pasta dishes- bolognese fabulous, gnocchi delicious even the bread was real. The atmosphere is intimate and warm. The staff is very accommodating and friendly! And the pasta was the best I’ve ever had… and I’ve been to Italy!! The main server said his mother was in town from Italy for the past month and she made some of the specials!
I can't imagine why anyone could give this place anything but a 5. I have lived in Sarasota for 35 years and tried all of the Italian restaurants because my wife is Italian. This place is by far the best. Most have small portions, frozen patties and water for sauce. This place had more than we could eat and fresh. Enjoy
