I love it. I go almost every Sunday with my husband. The special Cuban sandwich. Super Caribbean atmosphere.

Dark, golden and foamy and it all started by getting a whipping, that is the wrist twitching drops of dark coffee upon the heaping quantity of light white sugar. Turns, swirls and folds to flow before my high test sweet coffee treat came to me so seductively in a clear outfit that accentuated her top and bottom half. Then the second act, things took a downward turn when my Cubano Sandwich was set forth. Understandably the fresh zest of lime and orange overnight ham bath might be a bit ambitious for a little sandwich shop located in a hole in the wall within a strip mall that looks to be on life support. Not exactly my idea of doing the Congo to Cuba to chill out at the Havana Club Lounge, this aunt Miami quite yet. There were no pickles which my ultra Cuban friend pointed out as being "absolutely critical" and I felt more was in store for me. He then harassed the sandwich further due to the meat, so I cut him off quick and continued to eat away blocking his knowledge and wisdom, but I couldn't. I looked at the bag of Lays chips and question the authentic flair for that side. It was at this point that I wanted to throw my cheese up to the ceiling in hopes to see if it would stick or if I could re catch it on the bread. Mother always said "don't play with your food" but I always did. Shooting spinach from my special hard rubber fork I kept in my pocket for just such a meal (mashed potatoes too) across the table over the fine linen into my sister's face were such good times and I hit the ceiling a once too and it stuck for about a year before being noticed and catching a fat beating.

More people need to discover Nando's!!! Tourists: It's worth driving further away from the beach area! Locals: Say bye-bye to the pretentious lunch eateries around downtown and discover something real! The food is delicious! The ingredients are quality, authentic, honest, and the love that shows up in the taste of the items is something you usually only find in "grandma's kitchen." Yes, it is a small little place in a shopping center. No, they do not serve fancy cocktails. It's a place where local characters come after work to get a homemade bite to eat, some "scratchers," and pick up a pack of Cuban-brand cookies to take home.

Stopped in for some guava pastries and they were horrible due to the fact that they were old dried up and should not have been sold to the public very bad first experience ?

Was looking for a great Cuban sandwich. My wife found this restaurant that was very close to our home. The sandwich was terrific. The owner was friendly. The entire establishment was loaded with Cuban items giving my wife and I a real feel of authenticity. We will be back.

The empenadas we're dry and too flaky, the carne empenadas were pollo and the guava empenadas...again pastry too hard, dry and flaky and even guava insides were hard as a rock. Maduros were good

Great authentic Cuban bread. Great coffee. Will definitely go back. Everyone was extremely welcoming. If you like your eggs well done, you'll really enjoy this place - personally I would like them more moist, but it's how my grandmother cooked eggs. Great ambiance if you're looking for that Miami Cuban vibe.
