We haven’t come here for about a year for two reasons; the noise level and concern over the restaurant inspection reports. We came last night with two other couples. The noise level wasn’t as bad sitting upstairs but it didn’t feel like the air conditioning was working and it was quite warm. Our server was not very friendly. My wife asked several times for more ice cubes and never got them. Five of the six of us at the table enjoyed their meals except for the Caesar salads...
The food is AMAZING!! Service was attentive considering how busy it was. The decor and design feels like you're in Italy. Definitely make a reservation!

The valet only parking situation causes a stand still in the driveway and cars are backed up on 41 trying to enter. It took 15 min just to get onto the restaurant property. We were there for 7pm rez on Friday night, so perhaps it's not always...

This place is very unique as a showing in Sarasota, representing a more uncompromising showing of Italian culture than most other places around:
The small property this place is on forces valet parking to be the only option here, which is unfortunate. You are then greeted by a beautiful interior with a two-tiered dining area with great views of the kitchen and artwork on the wall which makes a great aesthetic.
