I really liked it when it was NY Chinese. So far,the new owners don't measure up. I'm disappointed. Example: the fried rice is not the same, & not enjoyable. Used to be my go to Chinese. No longer!

Try the Sesame Chicken. It may the best in town. We had take out from a friendly bustling hard working family. We just moved nearby so we are delighted to find a very good New York style Chinese restaurant. Everything was good but the Sesame Chicken was just outstandingKid-friendliness: Kids were trying to help mama and she was helping them help! It was just darling!

I'm from Chicago and we came here and ordered the sesame chicken, egg rolls, chicken fried rice and vegetable lo mein. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I definitely will come back when I touchdown in Sarasota.

Beef mixed veggies with white rice. Rice portions is not what is expected. You will finish the rice fast and left with plenty of meat, veggies, and sauce leftover with no rice to complement. For people who eat with rice, this is important. This is a medium-sized meal. Egg rolls are crunchy and hott.

We placed a delivery order last night and ordered crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, beef&broccoli, egg rolls and rice. Everything was very tasty except the beef was 3 star. I would get all of this again and the delivery was fast, correct and courteous. Thanks!

We ordered two take out dishes - kung pao chicken and shrimp in garlic sauce. Both dishes looked pretty much the same, both were drenched in a similar, brown sauce probably highly caloric corn starch. They only offered white rice which we discarded in favor of brown. Egg roles were basic. This meal does not compare with our favorite hole in the wall Chinese in Brooklyn NY
Still looking for my go-to Chinese Restaurant. Updating my previous review I'm confirming my average 3 Star rating. There were three orders for this visit. My order was Pork Egg Fo Yung. The helping was very generous. I had three separate meals--two dinners from the patties and a lunch from the pork fried rice. The patties were rather bland as was the rice. Additional seasoning would've improved the meal. The sauce was a typical brown gravy and was provided in a separate container. I ordered the combo meal so an egg roll was included. The egg roll was large and once again a bit bland. My wife has Beef and Broccoli. She commented that the beef was tender. That breaks from many other restaurants where the meat is chewy. She enjoyed her entree. My only concern is the beef was rather scant. The order was a combo meal. the next time I order it will be for the full entree to ensure a more generous portion of beef. One of my granddaughters enjoys Pad Thai which was not on the menu. I ordered Lo Mein with fried tofu. The noodles were generous but the tofu portion was very small. She did enjoy the meal but wanted more tofu. The restaurant advertises NY Style. Not sure if it qualifies.

Lady was nice, the boy working the register and the line needs some coaching on sanitization. That pretty much killed it for me. Food was "eh". Was hoping for something crisp and clean, got 60's New York. Guess that's what they advertised.

New to the area and extremely picky with our food!!! Bamboo Garden was excellent and the food was better than expected. Very fresh and great flavor . We will be going back soon...

Take out is great chose the dish you like, pay and in 15 minutes you have Hot, somewhat Healthy (depending on your order) and tasty food do go! Usually, if you order an entree with a large side, rice, noodles, etc...you will have plenty for another meal/ leftovers.-Dinner entrees come in Large portions!
