I was looking forward to going to Ocean Prime I heard how great it was when I got my meal it was over done and $80 steak that was burnt and they served it to me they tried to make up for it by giving me the steak for free and taking it off my bill after they gave me a second one that was perfect but by then my wife had finished eating my potatoes were cold but I had a nice piece of meat I thought this was awful for the expectations I had for this place John Keegan

Beautiful ambiance. Amazing service. My filet was perfectly cooked, broccoli tender with a little spice and Parmesan fries crispy and delicious. On the high end but worth every penny.

One very cool and unique steakhouse. Attended for my anniversary, they put out real flower petals on the table, gave us a courtesy desert. Our experience mainly revolved around the service from our server. Victoria was very friendly, charismatic, and gave us great recommendations, followed up with timely service under a medium to heavy workload which was very impressive. We hope the future holds more than this job for Victoria, she is a great representation of how all servers should be. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable for the quality, taste, preparation and the service. For a couple, appetizer, median steaks, sides, and cocktails, landing in under 300$ with tip really speaks volumes, compared to other prime restaurants here in Sarasota. 10/10 reccomend, thank you Victoria !!!!

I never write reviews but I just had to this time. Everything about Ocean Prime amazed me, from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. The service, the atmosphere (very energetic, may be too loud for some but not us), the attention to detail, everything about this place just screams high class! I left feeling so taken care of by management and the two delightful ladies who took care of us, Mikaya and Sherry. It's a little pricey so bring your pocketbooks, although, delicious food is worth it in our opinion. Highly recommend! We will be adding this to our restaurant rotation. P.S. Get the 13-layer carrot cake, you won't be disappointed.

I had reservations on July 18 for dinner for my brothers Birthday. A text was sent through the open table platform earlier in the day to confirm my reservation. We get there. Pull up to valet. Get out of the car to find out that the restaurant is closed. Kitchen problems. Which I understand. What I don’t understand is not letting the people that have reservations know that you are closed. Very unprofessional. Ended up going to Hyde Park Steakhouse and had a fabulous meal. Three hours later I receive an email from Ocean Prime telling me my reservation was cancelled. What a joke. You guys were really on top of that one weren’t you. I’ll spend my money at better restaurants moving forward.

Both inside & outside! Entrees included filet mignon, blackened snapper & salmon. Everything was a hit right down to the complimentary birthday cake desert!
