Decided to dine at this place after reading a glowing review in Sarasota Magazine. It's 30 mins from where I live, so far enough that I typically wouldn't seek it out on my own. My wife and I were blown away by the quality of the food (and the service was excellent, too). Quaint little place, cutely decorated. Wife had hummus appetizer, she gave it a thumbs up. I had a generous portion of delicious lentil soup. Wife had a salad as her entree, I had a wonderfully flavored lamb burger that was accompanied by thinly shaved and lightly spiced fries and a tiny salad. The presentation was beautiful and the lamb burger was amazing. Wife had baklava for dessert and she loved it. As noted, service was efficient and friendly. Owner circulated in the dining room near the end of our meal, checking with diners to make sure they enjoyed themselves. The endeavor seems to be a labor of love, and it shows. He's an excellent chef and a true restauranteur. Bonus, no liquor license, so we brought our own bottle of wine, with no corkage fee. We will definitely return!!!!

This has to be thee best Mediterranean based food I've eaten outside of visiting the actual Mediterranean cities. It is prepared fresh and the ingredients are all just superbly mixed so well! The menu is small which is a good thing because they can focus on those items with culinary precision. Best hummus I've ever had. Falafel and baklava were both exquisite! Vegetarian and even Vegan options as well. It is a family run place with the father sharing his love and passion for the food in the kitchen and his son being the frontman. It was an unexpected delight for a Valentines day lunch. The staff were very sweet. It's a small place, but with a big heart and even bigger flavor! I give it a 11/10. You must try it out if you are in the area.

Nice addition to the Sarasota food scene. We had a hummus, fattoush, baba ganush, and a chicken kabob. Each dish was excellent and we liked the iced sage tea!

We had seen this restaurant several times when we were shopping at the Shelf Indulgence bookstore next to it, and decided to give it a try for lunch. We're very glad we did, and will definitely be going back. My husband, my granddaughter and I each had a different meal and all of us were very happy with our food. The servings were generous and the price was appropriate. The server was friendly and efficient, and even the cook set hi to us through the window.
