I have been to fine dining establishments like Oceans Prime and let tell the Outback Steakhouse on University in Sarasota has the best servers I've ever had! I was very impressed by the value, quality, and service. Kudos to Outback! Oi, Oi, Oi!

Food 5 stars, location 5 stars… but either the waiter took a smoke break or got completely distracted. He was nice, help staff was courteous, but from the time he greeted me at the table to get my drink order until he came to take my food order, it seemed like 15 mins. I almost got up and left. And the place was not busy at all. That’s my only complaint. I forgot to take a picture on delivery because I was starving, but everything was good. Salad was bigger than normal which I loved. Steak was very tender and cooked perfectly to medium.

Had not been in a while and the FOOD WAS NOT GREAT. I remembered the sirloin tender and flavorful and this was not the case on this visit.
My 11 ounce steak was okay on tenderness but dryish and the only flavor was (way too much) black pepper. None of that 17 spice (garlic, onion, etc.?) I recall.
My girlfriends 6 ounce sirloin could not be cut with a steak knife. Not for the cut itself but the veins in the small jenga shaped piece. Also the shrimp on the barbie now was 4 tiny shrimp covering less than half of the bread piece.
It was better before, much better. Used to go weekly. Will be a while again now. WHAT HAPPENED!? Where is that buttery tenderness and taste explosio!? 🤔 😟

The server was great and the atmosphere was fine. However, the food.. My partner ordered a burger and when she was talking about the quality, I admittedly thought she was exaggerating. But when I took a bite of it the first words that come from my mouth were, "That is shocking." It didn't taste bad, per se, but the low quality of every piece of the burger was so shockingly low I couldn't believe it.
I ordered a steak and would describe it as "fine." I didn't expect much as I never buy steak when I go out to eat, so I was curious. I would say it was just fine. I've learned that going out to places and buying a steak is simply something one should never do and it is so much better to home cook a steak.
Anyway, if you like their food, no problem. But I've reviewed many restaurants on here and will rank this as one of the lowest experiences I've had at one in recent memory.

I ordered dinner and our milk that was ordered for my child was not milk when I called. I was told “oh it was probably buttermilk, We have a new employee”. That’s great milk and buttermilk are to totally different things and it was for a kids meal and then when I called the store the manager Was disrespectful and only wanted to give her new employee a write off there was no resolution except for me to come and get a new “milk “ and then she proceeded to hang up on me. Be careful what you order. and I was so concerned about my child’s drink that my medium rare steak for my pasta, not medium rare.

I sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes for someone to greet me. I ordered a Tito’s martini with a lemon twist, and when it came out it was yellow (I assume she made a lemon drop martini). When I brought it up to the bartender she argued that she “made the perfect martini” and I should just try it. After arguing with her back and forth for a few minutes, I decided to leave as I did not feel welcome. It’s a shame, I go there often - usually later in the evening - and I loved going there! But that interaction has left a bad taste in my mouth.
