Hands-down, this is The best deli in Sarasota. Their pastrami sandwiches are off the chain. Their customer service is absolutely fantastic, everyone I’ve come across has been overly kind.

Expensive. Not wonderful. Worst slowest service imaginable. Two times. They have truly literally never heard of a corned beef special. It’s crazy. I had a Reuben this time. It was either chopped or sliced so thin that it had zero mouth feel. You could taste meat but you could only feel mush.

We absolutely loved our visit to Palm Avenue Deli! The service was quick and friendly, and the food—wow. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
We tried the eggs Benedict, which were perfectly cooked, and one of their bagels with smoked salmon and scallion cream cheese so, so good. The salmon was super flavorful, and the smear 👌
We also had their chocolate egg cream (made with milk chocolate and soda water) out of pure curiosity and it was surprisingly delicious! Overall, such a great experience.

I rarely take the time to give positive reviews, but just had to stop and comment on how much I love this restaurant. The breakfast items are the best I've found in Sarasota, and the decor and overall atmosphere is so unique to Sarasota, and just has a great vibe. My only complaint is that you are no longer open at 7 so I can't enjoy your food before work, hope you reconsider, at least part of the year.

Literally 5 star everything here! The host (gentleman) who greeted us was soo pleasant. Our server was wonderful as well. I had the Taylor ham Benedict and it was amazing. Very kid friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful!! Great vibes

We loved the matzoh ball soup. We didn't care for the 1871 sandwich nor the chicken Waldorf salad. Looks like we won't be back. Sorry..

Sooo Palm Avenue Deli was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at, and I’m glad we took the walk over because breakfast was delicious. I loved the old diner vibe, the order status sign, jukebox, photos, and even the little touches like the bill holder. Our waitress was funny and kind, which made the experience even better. Everything we ordered hit the spot. If you’re visiting or in the area for breakfast, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Scrambled Eggs with Sausage & Bacon = classic and tasty
Not great. Hot HoneyChicken and waffles needed seasoning beyond the crunch as well more hot and more honey. Service was very slow in the beginning.

Quality food and delicious! Authentic Jewish Deli food. We ordered Kinish, egg cream, nova lox bagel , Ruben....all of it great. The service is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is fun with a juke box and nicely decorated.i came two days in a row. Will be back

Found this place last year and fell in love with their food. My wife and I tried few different dishes and we loved all of them. My favorite is the deluxe burger. I add a side of chicken liver and put it inside. So delicious.
