We have recently moved to Lakewood Ranch and have spent a month trying out the areas food scene (and there's a lot of choices). We randomly noticed Selva's sign and looked it up to see what in fact it was. Am I glad we did! Selva Grill is a gem! From the moment you walk in the door, you know you're somewhere special. Our meals were fresh and so delicious. Not too much sauce or salt (pet peeve). We had ceviche, caesar salad, swordfish and tuna. All were worth 5+++ stars! Definitely moved to the top of our date night list!

We told ahead that was our engagement and other than a printed sign that was only acknowledgment. Waiter had no idea. He was very nice but a bit intrusive at times when we were engaged in conversation. Still one of our favorite restaurants but a bit disappointed

The four of us went for New Year's Eve. We had a great time. We always get the same waiter ( too bad I forgot his name) and he is superb at his job. The food and ambiance were perfect. Been there many times and never had a bad meal. Great choice for the holiday. I'd recommend all to go.

Dinner on New Year's Eve, restaurant was a little loud but we were able to carry on a conversation. Drinks...Hazelnut old fashioned were excellent. Appetizers...we had the empanadas (2) good but overpriced. Entrees (3) consisted of Salmon Chileno, Seafood paella risotto and Jumbo sea scallops. The paella was tasty but the risotto red sauce was overpowering. Overall we thought the food was good but overvalued. We would definitely recommend and revisit for a special occasion.
