Blew my socks off! This is the best Ethiopian coffee I’ve ever been served. We had 2 different drip coffees and a shot of espresso. The barista was quick, informative and friendly. We are from New Jersey and this was our first stop when we arrived to Sarasota.

Perq Coffee Bar is a cozy local café with a great vibe and consistently good coffee, and they also serve breakfast. I usually get a flat white, and it’s always spot on. The owner is super kind, and everything runs smoothly with no long waits, making it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done.

I didn't realize this spot was in my vicinity until my coworker told me about it. I’ll definitely stop by again soon because the coffee was good - even without syrup! - and the vibe was unique.
I was surprised to see the responsibilities of both cashier and barista resting on the shoulders of just one dude, though.

Fantastic flat white, owner/barista is very knowledgable. The Ethiopian beans I bought are also fantastic!! Nice to find a local spot with variety of coffee beans, they had at least 6 variations. You will not find a generic house blend here!
