We had an amazing dining experience at Peru941 in downtown Sarasota! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We ordered the jalea and ceviche combination platter, pescado a lo macho, and lomo saltado — every single dish was full of authentic Peruvian flavor and cooked to perfection. We're obsessed with this Peruvian gem! My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here not once, but twice, a year apart, and both experiences were truly unforgettable. Our first visit was a revelation - the Chicha Morada was love at first sip, and the Lomo Saltado was hands-down the best we've ever had, even surpassing the authentic dishes we enjoyed during our travels to Peru! We were so impressed that we returned a year later, eager to relive the magic. The Chicha Morada and Passion Fruit drink were just as delightful, and the Lomo Saltado and Pescado a lo Macho exceeded our already lofty expectations. The flavors were bold, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was vibrant. Originally from Pennsylvania usually have vacations in Florida and tried some Peruvian food that never quite hit the spot and makes me wanna go back when I vacation here. But I found it in this food. The food made me think of the food I had in Peru when I was a kid. This food was great in flavor and presentation. SERIOUSLY. My family cleaned all four of the popular main dishes which never happens. The food wasn’t the only thing that made this memorable for us. It was the server such a great and attentive guy. Very patient while my kids practiced their Spanish and I really appreciated that. I will definitely make future trips to this restaurant and recommend this to family friends. Thank you for the great service you provided us.

Not worth it. As a peruvian from jersey… nothing compares. We saw the reviews and had hope, but it wasn’t good. The tallarín verde tasted too sweet, and wasn’t creamy. You ever been to a store where they sell the peruvian sauces packaged? that’s what it taste like. The fried fish with rice didn’t have any flavor either. the tallarín saltado was again.. more sweet, and watery. Also Inca Kola should be included in the lunch special.. it shouldn’t have to be extra….

AMAZING! Half of my family is Peruvian and when my husband and I took them here, they loved it. They came to visit Sarasota and this was the place where we thought the food was authentic and it was! If you’re looking for true Peruvian cuisine, this is it! The owner very nice, and truthful to how big or how small the dishes were and what he recommended was spot on to what he said. We were happy with the service and the food. We are coming back!
Great food and service. Their bredding on the fried fish and seafood was amazing. The place is quiet and great for a nice calm family night! The only thing missing was some nice cocktails.

Right in downtown Sarasota. Lunch specials were good for the price. My group had grilled fish with white rice and salad and pesto pasta with steak. They came with soup as a side which we found tasty All choices were good
